THANK YOU, Liz.... you're right that there has been way too much "drama" around the community lately and that a few minutes of focusing on our blessings is definitely in order.

I am grateful for............

My health and having the energy to deal with the crap
My wonderful family and most especially my 2 incredible daughters
Having a stable home that is not in danger of imminent foreclosure
Having a stable job that is not in danger of layoffs or furloughs and that I enjoy (most days)
My funny, wonderful, and loving kitties
Having enough income to pay my bills, buy food, and support my family
My incredible and growing community of friends
My support network that is helping me get healthier in mind and body every day

Thanks Liz.. we need to be reminded at times that there are many things to be grateful for.

Siehara--even when she drives me nuts
the PA OH board and everyone on it .  You all teach me something every day
the roof over my head
the clothes on my back
a car to drive
the food in my stomach--even the dang blasted peanut butter
my job--even though I hate it, at least I have one
My Effexor that keeps me sane
my surgery and gym membership
my synagogue family

I'm sure there is much much more

Great Post Liz....

  I am grateful/thankful for...

Loving myself first and formost that gives me the abilty to love those around me even more.
My Aunt Mary who is always there for me and loves me as one of her own children.
My family while they are a little nuts we always are there for each other.
My friends that are my choosen family that I love and would be lost with out.
Without a doubt the love I have found in my life partner Dennis we started as friends through support and friendship I found the love of my life.
I have a home that is filled with love and paid for.
While I am not in love with my job it pays the bills and provides me what I need to have a nice life.
The support and friendship I have found through being a former Fat Girl and the chain reaction that it has had on those around because of it. Many good things have happen.

Wonderful post, Liz...I am grateful for:

Having the courage to finally admit I needed weight loss surgery and following through with it
Finding Dr Boe, Barix and the most amazing group of support people out here
Regaining my health and the ability to live life to it's fullest again
The unconditional support and love of my husband and bff while going thru all this
The ability to shop where I want for stylish clothing

I am always grateful for...

My wonderful husband who never hesitates to support me in my crazy ventures!
My wonderful dysfunctional family - what would I do without them?
My beautiful daughter and her family and for all the wonderful (and sometimes not-so-wonderful) things we've been thru!
My adorable Jude -- he loves me when I'm happy, sad, up, down - he's a dog - doesn't matter to him as long as I'm 'there'
My beautiful home and wonderful neighbors
My great job that allows me to have a beautiful home and wonderful neighbors

And I am grateful that prayers are endless in supply and are easy to give, to receive, and to be thankful for - and for all of the prayers I have received from the wonderful people on these boards who have never met me in person or only briefly for all of your support, caring and understanding in helping me through my mother's illnesses and her recent passing. You guys rock!!

Great Post Liz -

I'm grateful for:

My boyfriend Brad, who was been with me thru thick and thin...literally
My Mom, Dad and Sis who are always there for me.
My best friend Shelly who is also always there for me.
Dr. Pupkova for saving me from myself and giving me back my health
My job
My bratty little cat Peanut, who I just adore
My OH PA friends, of course

There probably a lot more than these few, but these are the ones that come to me right away.

Lisa
