More boxes of Miss Clarol will help those grays!! LOL - hey, I seem to be getting grayer faster in the area where I had lost so much hair post-op - around my face - I just had it all colored about a month ago and just made an appt for a touch up. I am wearing my hair longer now so I didn't know if thats why I was noticing it more or not but sorry, honey, there is no way to tame the gray!
Hey, be happy you have hair again, right? At least that's what I keep telling myself. I have a picture on my desk of the cruise hubby & I went on about 5 months post-op and my hair is soooo thin - will definitely be updating that picture this cruise! Oh, now I have more hair but I'm thinner - good exchange, right?!

Yeah I will take the gray over the thinner hair...lol...I staightened out my curls the other week and everyone was like "Where is your hair" --it def is not as voluminoous when straight...lol
Heading off to the store tonight to pick ups some hair dye....sigh...oh well--I def inheirted my dad's gray hair genes...he went gray in his 20s...so I will just have to deal with it and stay on top of it...lol

Laura,
All I can say is "enjoy the ride." I started going gray in my mid-20s and started coloring it (L'Oreal Excellence was my drug of choice) in my early 30s. Colored it until about 2 years ago when I decided to grow it out. I just got sick of having to color it every 3 - 4 weeks (it had gotten that bad) and it was starting to reach a point where it was no longer taking the color like it should. I knew at that point from my roots that I was about 85-90% gray. Frankly, I LOVE it now! And so many people compliment it, which makes me feel great.
So my advice for now would be to do whatever feels right to you... but if you do choose to color it, recognize that it will be something you have to keep up with every (probably) 6 weeks or so. Personally, I'd say "embrace the gray" as a badge of honor. You've earned every one of 'em!

Loooove your hair!!! I think I am def going to have to keep dying it right now...the big question is whether to keep it black or go for a different color...lol..I did go blonde for a quick minute in my 20s --soooooo not a good look for me!! LOL
Off to buy the box of color tonight...sigh...
Still it is cheaper than paying $70 in a salon to have it done...lol

My older sister has hair like yours - beautiful white/silver color and people always complimented her on it too - funny thing is when she turned 50 she started hating it and now colors it blonde. If mine went gray like that I'd let it go - sadly mine just goes fugly and has no color or life to it - it would just hang like a wet dishrag - not a good look!
