phoenixville support group meeting

Hello to all,
Just a reminder and an invite to anyone interested, tomorrow at 7 pm our support group meets in the phoenixville hospital cafeteria. Hope to see both old and new faces.

The meeting is on Wednesday, isn't it? (Tomorrow is Tuesday. Just wanted to clarify for newbies that may want to join us.) I'll be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!!

You are correct, the meeting is on Wednesday ,not Tuesday. My mistake.! Thanks for catching it.

I just had lap band surgery on 5/20/10 and am interested in joining your support group.  Can you please give me more information?  Is there a set date/time each month?  Can anyone join?

Yes anyone can come Our meeting is the first  Wed. of each month at 7 pm in the hospital cafeteria. Anyone who is struggling with eating issues/is interested in weight loss surgery/friends,family members, or support people are also welcome. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Just an additional bit of info: The support group that I run is not the present " official support group for lap banders overseen by our new surgeon who is doing the lap band procedure at  our hospital. You would have to call the hospital to find out when and  in what room that group meets.  Folks who come to the First Wed. meeting have had all the different types of surgeries, by many different docs, at all different hospitals, we support everyone and don't believe that only one procedure is the only answer for everyone.
