*** Sunny Satrday Roll Call ***
Good Morning Steffi,
I am so happy you were smiling throughout your birthday. That is how birthdays are supposed to be.
Good Morning PA,
I almost forgot it was Roll Call. I am up and heading to PetSmart to drop off Utley. Then, I am heading to Core Creek to spend some time with my family before heading to my therapy appointment this afternoon. From there, I hope to get to my rehab, where I will attend an Alumni Meeting for my rehab group I participated in January.
Oh, last night's speaking commitment at my AA meeting went really well. I enjoyed sharing my story with the women at this meeting.
Hugs,
Trish

Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.

Good morning Steffi... did you have a birthday yesterday? I hadn't noticed..
I'm about to get in the shower so Siehara and I can head to synagogue. It is Federation Shabbat, which means that the Jewish Federation will take part in some of the service, give a speech and hang out at the lunch afterwards.
Honestly, a lot of the time I will choose to stay away on these days because it makes for a longer service and it just makes Siehara more fidgety than normal. BUT, when I got home last night there was an email from the president of the Federation letting me know that they have offered Siehara a $1200 scholarship towards her camp funding. SOOOOO, I think it is only right that I am there to support them.
So far, between the Federation and my synagogue I have gotten $2400 for her. There is a first time camper's scholarship out there for $1000 that I need to wait for and I am also waiting to hear from the camp. It seems, though, that the funding is going to be almost completely taken care of. I was also told that if there is a balance and I cannot pay it outright, the Jewish Family Service can basically loan me the money and I can pay them out over time. This is all wonderful news and it looks like Siehara will be headed to overnight Camp Ramah in the Poconos for a MONTH this summer. This will be fantastic opportunity for her and an interesting break for me. I will definitely miss her, but I also think it will provide me with much needed time to just regroup and reset my brain and patience.
OKAY, back to today.... After synagogue, we are headed to a local youth production of School House Rock Jr. It is being done at a local theater and is directed by a former classmate of mine. I am really looking forward to seeing the show and the talent of these kids. I am meeting up with another former classmate and her family to see the show. Afterwards, I'm hoping that our two families can go for dinner somewhere.
Tonight, I really have nothing on the agenda.. maybe I'll take Siehara to a movie or something. I was actually considering going to the drive-in. But, I have to check times because I don't want to be out too late. Tomorrow morning is the March for Babies and we need to be up early to greet Eric, Erin and the girls over by Dorney for the walk.
Ok.. I think the ho****er should be back in the shower now.. off to get ready for my day.

No, not the same camp. That would have been cool, too. Steffi's family goes to Camp Harlam. Siehara will be going to Camp Ramah in the Poconos. My cousin (who I just saw) is one of the camp nurses at Ramah, so I feel less anxious about the month away from home. It is a great conservative Jewish camp and I know she is going to have a great experience.
Good Morning!!
It is going to be a HOT one today, and I am not just talking about the weather!!
We are going to go visit my folks at the nursing home, then off to Barix for support! I have been dealing with low energy due to my iron count being down. I am just wondering how you can take iron twice a day and calcium three times a day all with six hours in between. There are not enough hours in the day!
After support, may go to the mall so Dee can play at the indoor playground and do some walking.
See all of you there!

Was just packing up some shoes for Shilpa's shoe drive (I hope you are coming today Shilpa!).
Plans for the day include:
a workout in the basement
shower
barix meeting (I think I may skip out early to take in some vitamin D by being outside)
Am really looking forward to getting dirty today :) - We had two huge holly bushes die last year (kept then in through the winter and even decorated their deadness for Christmas) - Mark took them out yesterday and we have a big gaping hole in the landscape to fill today.. bulbs to plant, bushes to prune - LOVE IT! My flora and fauna are happy happy happy and so am I..
Will be grillin tonight - turkey burgers and veggies probably - was experimenting with fat free cool whip, pb2 and some natural peanut butter last night... I think that the combo makes a lovely peanut butter whip... that might be our Sat night treat...
Looking forward to seeing some of my new friends today

Good Morning All! Have a great day at Barix and give eachother hugs for me - I swear I will make it down for one of these!
Today already I have put the veggie plants in the garden and transplanted a few house plants. I am not taking a rest while Chris runs to home depot (someone say a prayer for me lol) to get a shovel and some other things so he can finish the project he is working on in the yard. I want to make some oatmeal rasin cookies for him later. I also have laundry to do and the kitchen floor to mop - of course all of this is being done over the next 2 days with lots of resting in between. I saw the OB about my swollen legs, feet, hands and arms and he wasn't concerned - so I won't be either! I see a different OB tuesday so I'll be sure to bring it up again. Of course I do have to remind myself that I am 37 weeks pregnant and it is going to be 90 degrees today this is normal lol
Have a great day all!
