*** Sunny Satrday Roll Call ***
Good Morning all of PA!!!! I am up because I actually sat down on the sofa and proceeded to fall asleep for a few hours and woke up to find that it was no longer my birthday! :)
I was to thank ALL of you for making my day soooooo fun and wonderful yesterday! I smiled my way through the day between checking the boards and getting messages from facebook - you guys really know how to enable a girl who already has an attention addiction! :) I am one lucky girl! :)
Once I go back to sleep - which is momentarily - I will turn off the alarm - which only means that I will proably sleep until 5:30 instead of 6! (HAHAHA!)
Molly does NOT have a City Year event in the morning so I am going to not rush around. I do however, need to sit and discuss with her why I am still not allowing her to spend the day unsupervised with a friend of hers. She "seemed" to not understand why I wont allow it and stated that we would discuss it in the morning. Should be fun! Need to also work on a recycling project with Emily. Then I am off to a birthday celebration at Barix...oh wait - I keep forgetting, it is not JUST MY birthday celebration but a support group meeting as well. Oops - I hope I remember that when others start talking about themselves! :) HEE HEE! I am looking forward to spending the afternoon with wonderful and inspiring people!
Tomorrow night is a BIG fund-raising event at the synagogue - in which I will no doubt remind people that we are there to AGAIN celebrate my birthday....I think it is VERY sweet of all my peeps around me to have get togethers just for me! :)
Thanks again to EVERYONE for helping make my day sooooooo special! It is one in which I looked back on my previous year and just smiled at all the accomplishments that I was able to make with the help, love and support of ALL of you! :)

I'm so glad that you had such a wonderful Birthday and that I will be there to celebrate the second phase of said celebration. I am in desperate need of support this weekend as the carb monster has gotten ahold of me and won't let go. So if you see someone in jeans, t-shirt, and a black baseball cap brandishing a baby blue cane that is probably me. I have heard so many good things about the Barix meetings. I honestly can't wait to get there and meet new people and those who come here as well..
Before group this morning I have to get ready and walk the puppies and take the hubby to work. We had to run a few errands after he got off work yesterday so I just picked him up and we left his Jeep there.. So I'm running him into work. Then it's off to walk for me. I have decide if that's what I really want to do... or if i want to give myself a day of rest. I'm just really sore today ... and I'm not really sure why. then it's probably off to head up to Langhorne.
For everyone who is at the meeting, can't wait to meet you...

Glad to see you enjoyed your birthday!
I'm up and need to start getting ready for our second funeral/memorial service in two days. Today Gene will be co-pastoring this service.
Yesterday after our friends dad's memorial service we took the new clothes we picked up last weekend for dad down to him. It was amazing to see how he sprung to life getting these new clothes. If only my dad and my brother would communicate with me what dad needs Gene and I could do more, but that is the relationship my father and brother have spent years creating with me. Dad and Joey function as if I do not exist until it is an emergency or my brother has screwed something up so badly that they have to call me to fix it. Of couse this is a lot of other stuff going on but picking up a phone to communicate, I mean really it's that difficult. I am so thankful to have Gene in my life - he is always there to listen to my frustration with this as well as help me process it.
Hope everyone has an awesome day at Barix - we so wanted to be there today

I'm up early, as usual. I'm going to walk over to my friend's house and hand with her for a while during her yard sale. (I decided not to take part in it. I've never made much at those, so it's not worth my time hauling stuff out. I'll donate it to Goodwill.) I haven't decided yet if I'm going to Barix today; maybe I'll see some of you later today.

Today needs to be a turning place for me. I admit I am having issues with alcohol and I am going to have to start going to meetings. I'm supposed to go to a wine festival with a friend in VA in June. I may go as a designated driver. I'll get in cheaper and get allthe water and soda I want. She won't like it but at least I will be with her.
I am supposed to work from 11-11 today while the Maple Festival is going on but I am thinking that is a little much when I'm not getting paid to do it. Maybe that is a wrong attitude, I don't know. It is supposed to be stormy today so I'm not sure how much foot traffic will be there.

Steffi, I'm glad you had a Happy B-day - lol - it was a funny day watching the B-day videos Lisa posted and reading all the B-day wishes to you.
I'm hoping to see/meet new people today at the Barix meeting. Lynn and I are meeting in Lancaster and driving up together, so it should be fun chatting and getting to know each other along the way. It's supposed to be gorgeous today, so what better day to take a long drive - lol
Off to get a few things done before I leave. Have a great Saturday everyone!
