That is fabulous news! The sugar alcohols they used before didn't always agree with me...

FYI(I know you have allergies)

What does Rita's use to sweeten the Sugar-Free Italian Ice flavors?

We sweeten our Sugar Free flavors with a combination of sugar alcohols and sugar substitutes. In addition to sorbitol and maltitol (sugar alcohols), we also use the sweeteners Sucralose

I got excited too until I read the nutritional facts, the kids size (7.5 oz) is 30 carbs.

The majority of the carbs come from sugar alcohols.  Plans like atkins and low carb diets SUBTRACT the amount of sugar alcohols from the total carb count, because they do NOT influence blood sugar levels etc.  The same thing with fiber.  But, I can see how you would still choose to stay away from them.
