Tuesday Workouts?

I'm late to posting. but did in fact get in my hour on the elliptical this morning. A very good workout, almost 900 calories burnt!

How about you guys?

Good Morning Norm!
I did my hour on the Elliptical as well and it was also a good workout. Just wondering how accurate is the counter that shows the amount of calories burned as mine showed around a thousand as well..Inquiring minds want to know!! lol

Height/weight/age/intensity of workout are all factors.

Afternoon there Norm...

back to the gym tonight!  1 hour Body Pump class... I'm going to try to get on the elliptical and stay on as long as I can before class.. I usually can't last more than 15 minutes.  But, I am going to try to stay on for the whole 15 minutes, maybe longer.

My sister recently purchased an Elliptical and cannot stay on for longer than 5 minutes. I told her the same thing I am told her. It takes a long time to build up to the time you can stay on it. BUT it does happen. It is still the best machine around in my opinion. I owned a treadmill all my life but I have to say nothing kicks my arse like the Elliptical. You can do it!! I have full confidence in you!

Thanks Shilpa.. I'll stay on as long as I can and then next time, I'll aim for a little bit longer.

Soon, I'll be an elliptical machinist like you are!!!!

Well, I stayed on the elliptical for about 12 minutes... did a mile.  Next time, 15.. and more than a mile

Also did one hour Body Pump class

That is awesome!! A mile in 12 minutes is nothing to sneeze at. It takes me an hour to do 5 miles and most days I feel like my legs have turned to jelly when I push myself that hard. lmao...
