OT - so UNBELIEVABLY bored!!!!! Please play

So here I am - in my classroom staring at approximately 20 - 8th graders as they take a standardized Science test. This is their 11th, yes, I said 11th, standardized test in four weeks.  They have had only THREE days without testing this entire month.  It is utterly ridiculous - and....I am bored...because after all - it IS all about me! :)

So - let's play - talk to me...PLEASE!!!!!  Yes, I am begging - At this point, I think I will eat anything that is not nailed down just to keep me awake!  I wish I could take a picture of my kids right now - some are so aggravated, their faces have a permanent scowl on them, some have their heads down because they just can't deal with this AGAIN!, some are staring at their fingers, not sure why he is doing that....  Some are stretching A LOT, because they too are bored to tears!  Some are rubbing their eyes - you get the picture.  I totally want to reward these kids for getting through this torture - and don't get me wrong - IT IS TORTURE...Any thoughts on how I can reward them at a reasonable price?

You could tap dance for them why tossing out Mardi Gras beadsand Moon Pies to wake them up?

you know...not a bad idea - it will wake them up AND embarrass them at the same time....you are a TRUE GENIUS!  (And an evil one at that! )

They would have to be sugar free hershey kisses - and again...dancing in front of them would be added torture - yet fun for me!  Good thinking! :)

Free skip a homework assignment pass?  Remember we dont want to reward with food.  Or how about a movie?

OH if only I could allow them to watch a movie - the only movies I am allowed to show are G rated - and these are 14 year olds - they could CARE less.....IT has been an ongoing fight when this school went to 8th grade to tell my principal that things have changed....you SOOOO don't want to get me started!!!!!!

oh - and I have not assigned more than two homework assignments in the last month because I do not have enough students to teach anything to - so they have DEFINITELY had that! :)
