***Muddy Monday Roll Call***
Well Trish, as you may remember, I am a Michigan native. So to me, living in southern PA is sort of like the tropics!
Seriously? I don't think I could wrap my mind around living in the desert, although I do love the sunshine. I'd feel too vulnerable without a natural water supply. I know...phobic, huh? But it's what hit me on my first visit to Phoenix and I have thought of it every time since.

Good Morning All.
I am at work today until 4 then off to the OB and home to make dinner and relax. We got a TON done this weekend. ALl of the shower gifts are put away, baby's room is organized, house is 90% cleaned. I got some major spurt of energy, nesting from what I am told.... Well I took full advantage of it! lol As a result I am wiped out today but that's ok - that is what Monday's are for isn't it?
Enjoy your day off Pam!
To all those suffering physical ailments I hope you are feeling better soon

LOL That's what we want to hear!! I'll post an update tonight after the OB :) It's my first internal so maybe I'll get an idea on timing.
I had so much energy this weekend it was unreal! Chris literally had to force me to sit down. Oh and I was doing bizarre things like cleaning the outside of the washer and dryer and dusting the corners of the ceiling...

Good Morning Trish & PA -
Had a nice weekend that ended kind of crappy. We had my niece's birthday party yesterday afternoon and then my Dad ended up in to ER via ambulance shortly after they got home. Turns out his blood sugar was 30 ! He was mostly out of it and before he passed out in the driveway, he kept telling my mother he didn't want her to call 911. She called me and of course, I'm yelling at her to hang up and call immediately - who cares what my Dad is saying - he's out of it anyway. She finally called. The ambulance people arrived were able to bring his sugar up a little bit but not enough and they took off for the ER. Things stabilized in the ER and they kept him overnight for observation. I didn't get any calls last night, so I'm assuming he's ok. I'll speak to my Mom this morning for an update.
I sort of have a rant about the ambulance crew - maybe Eric or Pam could chime in protocol. They asked my Mother if my Dad had a living will. I have no problem with them asking this. What I had a problem with, was them saying to my Mother, who is already a bawling basket case and was there alone..."does he have a living will? Because he might not make it" - that is a quote. It seems to me that a little more tact might have been in order and I was more than just a little pissed about this last night. What do you think? I'm really thinking of writing a letter to ambulance company, but if you guys think that is too harsh, I'll rethink it.
Anyhow, I'm at work til 3:30. My plan at the moment is to go to the gym after work, but that may change if they don't let my Dad out of the hospital. I'll go to see him instead.
Hope everyone has a good day and to those not feeling well, feel better soon

I am so sorry your poor mother had to be treated so abruptly by the emergency medical team helping your dad. I don't know what is supposed to be, but I would talk to their supervisors and say something about it.
Seek always to do some good, somewhere. Every man has to seek in his own way to realize his true worth. You must give some time to your fellow man. For remember, you don't live in a world all your own. Your brothers are here too.
