Your funny Liz.  The driving in North Jersey was the FUN part, same thing in Allentown.  "experiencing" those areas I meant doing EMS in those areas...on middle shift or overnight running around the oh so lovely gang/drug areas, lol  It's how Brian and I met....so romantic I tell you.  But I have a very "tough girl" side who loves to come out and play in areas like that :)
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Good luck with the interview.  I know you'll do great!!  I have spent many hours at Sacred Heart when my mom was a patient there.  As long as you park in the lot, you'll be fine!  There's a Catholic School across the street (Central Catholic High School), so if you need to go grab one of the nuns!! LOL!

I also actually LIVED in Center City for awhile back when I was in my rebellious stage and when I was living with the sperm donor.  That was fun, let me tell you.

Anyway.. this is about you.. knock 'em dead!  If you feel like traveling up 7th St.  I will be home working all day til about 3:30.

Pam,

Best of luck with the interview today.  Just be yourself and how could they NOT pick you???

I can't wait to see your hair!  I'm sure it will be awesome.  And hopefully, we'll get to see it tonight at Barix - that would be way cool!

Can I offer a suggestion about the outfit? *IF* you don't mind spending a few extra bucks and can find a great deal, buy a girl outfit AND a boy outfit. Have them washed and packed. That way the pictures and coming home, you have a specific outfit, as I am sure you have LOTS of neutral things, one outfit for the correct sex is nice.

Just a thought, my sister did this with all 3 of hers as she didn't know what she was having ahead of time.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Thanks! I was planning on getting 2 of each sex lol someone suggested getting a newborn size and a 0-3 month size in each because of course we won't know how much the baby weighs. I figure I'll wash and pack all 4 outfits and then just pack away the 2 that are for the wrong gender to hopefully use in the future.

Thanks for the tip!

Oh and believe it or not, not too many clothes! SOme onesies and gowns but that's it! I have lots of giftcards to go shopping with.

Onesies and gowns are a newborn staple anyways. At home, with spit up and diaper accidents, you tend to put the basics on the baby and only use "outfits" for visits and so forth. So you seem set!
