GM all my lovely PA peeps!  How are we this morning?

Last night was a typical Monday night in the ER.  Good news though that I had some GREAT staff members on with me and the night wasn't so overwhelming - just enough to keep the clock moving.

I'm staying here till ?? this am.  Have some mandatory training I need to get done.

Once home it'll be finishing laundry, and then tearing a part my closet to figure out what I'm wearing tomorrow for the interview.  This may entail a trip to Kohls, we'll see.  I also might go get my hair cut.  There is a small place within walking distance from the house so if I do go, I'll go there.  Generally I've been using a salon..but their prices are pretty steep....and I'm trying to watch things like that now.

I'm sure at one point or another there will be a "siesta" involved as well.  Three nights off.

Enjoy!

Pam

Hi all,

Today is going to be taking the car back to the repair shop.  The service engine light is on and it wasn't before I took it there so they need to fix it.  It is near my work so I will drop it off.  I'm a wee bit upset over this.

Tonight is Open Mic at Olga's.  Not sure if I'm going because hubby didn't get paid yet.  So, no bucks.

I seriously need to get back on track.  I am in a rut and can't seem to get out of it.  Sometimes living in the boonies is so hard.  Anyway, I hope the rest of you have an awesome Spring day!

Pam I am happy that you had a decent night that is a good feeling. Today is going to be a continuation on yesterday for me. Highly volatile client that makes me pretty nervous is getting the screws put to them today due to her behavior. Guess who the one with the screw driver is? This is the part I dont like about my job.
After work I am going to take a nap before I have to go back out and see clients. Had a pretty stressful and ridiculous day yesterday and today so will need the nap. BTW did you get my email? The one about my faux pax?

Yes, I got the email.  And responded.  I'll resend it as maybe you didn't get the response?

And it was a busy busy night in the er...but a good busy :)  I don't mind "good" busy vs BS busy

Good Morning PA,

Ever feel like the movie Ground Hogs Day?  School - -> running - - > PT exercises/stretches... my life is so boring.

Good morning, PA!

I woke up early this morning.  I think it had something to do with the cat walking on us....

Plan for the day is to exercise this morning.  I have a doctor's appointment later in the morning, after which I will go to a friend's house to craft for a while.  Tonight I'm meeting some friends for dinner, which should be a lot of fun.

Enjoy your day, everyone!!

Hello PA!

I'm glad to be checking in today - it means my internet is back up and running. It got persnickity yesterday for some unknown reason, but seems to have recovered.

I have a great day planned. I am working this morning, then having lunch with a friend up in the Allentown area that I don't get to see very often. She is a physician and is one of the people *****ally helped me clarify my decision to have WLS.

Then...more work. The gym. My monthly massage. And I might get a chance to check out some new workout shoes on sale. (Personally I don't like the trend toward the light mesh material on athletic shoes - much prefer the leather kind, but we'll see what we find.)

See? Lots of good stuff! Hope you all have a good one!

Good Morning All.

Glad that your night wasn't too bad Pam.

I am exhausted today and my allergies are drivign me crazy. IT is also one of my stressful days at work. My plan is to take things in stride and lock myself in my office. I am here until 4 then home to make dinner and bed early!

Well hello there everyone.. I survived my very stressful night.  I will post separately about it, but have to say that I NEED A CORKSCREW!!!!!

EDITED TO ADD:  I will post tonight because Siehara wrote down a bunch of questions for me in her journal that I am not sure how to answer.  She must have taken her journal with to school because I can't find it and I don't want to misquote her.  They are great questions and I told her that she absolutely needs to bring them with her to therapy because that is exactly what Monica (her therapist) is there for.

Wine, bubble bath and a conversation with Tanya (yes, while I was in the tub )  helped me to relax and in turn have a good night sleep.

Today has me working until 12.  I have an appointment this afternoon and will be home in time for my lovely child to return from school at 3:30.

I need to go to Walmart or Target and pick up a few things for our trip to VA this weekend and Siehara has her therapy appointment tonight.  Tonight will be MUCH NEEDED.. again--another post for this.

There is a synagogue board meeting tonight, but I don't think I'll be going there.  I need to get stuff ready for the weekend, so it will be back home after therapy.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all - back at work and achey today - guess it took 2 days for the second round of furniture moving to catch up to me this week. I'll be glad when everything is back in place and the house is straight again - then it will be on to planting, but that may wait til I get back from vacation - we'll see.

Busy night last night - got home, changed, walked the dog, made dinner, 2 sf pies, bathed the dog, then I had cooked some chicken for the dog but he didn't need it yet so I decided to make a chicken noodle soup for dinner tonight - so all I have to do is heat the soup tonight, throw a salad together and we're good to go! After all that I crashed on the loveseat and watched DWTS - poor Kate - she really needs to go...

Today we're having a pizza lunch to welcome a new employee to our suite - one of the pies came in here with me today - gotta love sf instant pudding and ready-made pie crusts - it just doesn't get much easier than that and everybody loves them.

So that's it for me today - reading about the 'ruts' everyone's in right now - I am, too - mostly with food. I realized this weekend that I basically eat the same thing every day, so I'm trying to shake things up a bit. Starting with small changes - we'll see how it goes. Tonight - exercise.

Have a great day everyone!! Kathy
