What is this pain?
ok I have been having this weird pain on right side like under my ribs..sometimes it feels like something is moving and then it tightens up..any suggestions to what that could be? Not vomitting but sometimes the pain can be strong and then other times I can feel it but it's like a baby when they kicked in your stomach lol...and no I can't be pregnant (hysterrectomy). Last night when I was trying to fall asleep I couldnt lay on my side because it was uncomfortable but laying on my back was fine. Anyone else have this happen to them before and what was it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Do you notice the pain more so after eating? If so, what have you eaten before hand (within the past 4 hours or so). It sounds VERY suspicious for gallbladder to me. If it continues definately call one of the docs

it sounds like what I had, the pain would come on like contractions and last real severe for about a minute then go away & repeat.
call your surgeon , I had an internal hernia and my intestines were wrapped around it, had to have surgery to correct it.
it was on the right side under my rib cage, but my abdomen was also distended(swollen), I had a CT scan and that's how they found out what it was. I thought it was my gall bladder , I also had nausea
good luck to you
