Two Years Today for Beth C
Good Morning Everyone,
Well two years ago Beth had a surgery date of 4/17/08 but fate changed that and had her waiting another day for Dr. Pupkova to perform the RNY. Beth gallantly took the news, as hard as that is to take, and returned the next day to a successful surgery and outcome. Who knew how that change in date would become so interesting. She's gone on to become someone who has contributed as much as anyone in our community giving her all and has learned to ask when she's needed support too. You all know how special this community and all of you are to me. However there is no one as special to me as Beth. Ten months after first meeting her, supporting her, being a leader for her and working with her as a co-leader, we became a couple and I have never been more loved. Beth you are my lover, my best friend, my soulmate and on this, our day, I celebrate and congratulate you on a wonderful journey. May you always find successing and may you always know and use support.

Beth, happy surgiversary!!! How perfect that you and Dennis share that date!!! I follow your posts on OH and gets lots of encouragement and support from them. I've seen you at Barix meetings but have not yet had the opportunity to meet you. I'll have to do something about that one of these days! lol Thank you for supporting all of us and for sharing in this journey!

Beth!! Congratulations on your 2 year surgiversary! You are an amazing woman and someone I admire so much. I am so lucky (as we all are) to have you in my life. You have been there for me through the good, the bad and the ugly and I hope I have given you the same in return. You have become such an important part of my life...we share some great memories and I can't wait to spend the next 60 years making more!

I didn't know that you and Dennis shared the same surgery date. I do not believe in conincidences. You are a person who is not afraid to speak up for herself or others - "Hanging on the cross". It's good to know that you have people's backs. Thank you for the leadership you provide at Barix meetings. I hope that you and Den both enjoy this day. Take care.

Wow, Beth - I didn't realize you and Den had such 'close' surgiversary dates! Makes sense, given how close you guys are in everything else!
You've been such an amazing part of my journey so far and I see at every meeting how you reach out to people, comfort them, and - best and most important of all - are willing to speak the truth, even when that's not always the easiest thing to hear. I think that's the trait that is most important in a support group leader, and it's something I've always counted on from you.
