I'm home
Congrats Liz. I made it through the first weeks on ready to drink shakes-- was pricier but easier. I used Atkins and muscle milk light. I also did no sugar added carnation instant breakfast with skim milk and added unflavored nectar or dried milk powder for extra protein. I also mixed the unflavored protein with sugar free pudding which worked well.
I like the cherry tart celevrate chewable calciums-- they are my favorite so far.
Hang in there, before you know it you will barely remember those days!

Wow Dawn you look great. You're my inspiration - I remember you at support group 1 week post op! What an encouragement that was to me on the other side.
I do have ready to drink shakes - I guess I'm trying to be too creative so early out - I'll do as you other have said, stick to the shakes for protein. I had cream of wheat this morning - that went down good - I'll have to add some unflavored protein the next time.
Thanks.
Liz

Hi, Lynn:
I was at the gym today... walked a mile around the track & then went home and took a nap. Then my husband I went to the grocery store and walked another 30 minutes. That was weird - I didn't even want to buy anything. I actually only got what was on my list! I spent half the amount of money that I usually did in the past.
See you soon!
Liz
