Seven Days since my new life started
It has been seven days of my new life and I am seeing and feeling changes. Clothes are getting looser. I can feel bones in my hand again. My face is thinning out. I still have a little pain in my lower right abdomen. It only hurts when I stand or sit on the potty. But it is bearable. I am getting in 64-72 ounces of fluids a day. Today I feel a little weak which hasn't happened before. I have been taking my vitamins but I am in the clear liquid stage and can't really get any protein from that. Is the lack of protein why I feel weak??
Great job getting all of your liquids in!! Really outstanding!
The weakness is from taking in fewer calories than our bodies had been accustomed to as well as the lack of protein. Weakness for me happened off and on in the beginning and now 3 weeks out I am experiencing less weakness because I am getting more protein.
Keep up the great work- you are going to get so strong that this weakness will be barely a memory!

Great job thus far! Keep it up!
Yes, the weakness is partially related to the protein, plus your body healing in general. There are some clear protein drinks/powders out there. Profect comes in "tubes" and is a clear liquid...I wanna say something like 25gm of protein in 3 ounces or something like that. There are large bottles of a clear liquid protein drink (I can't remember the name of it) that they sell at GNC. Plus, you have beef/chicken stock/broth. Granted - not to much protein in broth itself. And obviously if you use protein powder you need to mix it in something like water or crystal lite to keep it as a clear liquid, not milk. I personally don't think ANY of these things taste good - but in all reality the first couple of weeks, heck, the first couple of months, isn't much about taste at all. Protein is your "medication" now...you gotta take it regardless
Thanks for the update!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/thumbsup2.gif)
