Thursday exercise thread!
Morning Norm & workout buddies !
Today I'll hit the gym for a 10 min. elliptical warm up, 30 minutes of resistance training and 20 intense minutes of ellipical.
I'm finding lately that the treadmill is not my friend. My hips and knees seem to ache/hurt when I try to walk fast or jog. The elliptical seems to be less stressful to my joints, so I guess I'll stick with that.
Have a groovy day folks !

Hi All,
I think I got my MO JO back, thank god! I went on a 20 mile bike ride last night and I ran today 2.25 miles and it felt great. Finally I didn't feel like I was slogging around.
Saturday I am running my first 5K...the Amiee Willard Sunflower Run. Wish me luck. I heard the course is hilly and it's not the best one for a first timer. I'm cutting my self some slack and trying not to beat myself up in the event I have to walk a little.
Sunday I'm riding 25 miles in the Girls with Gears event which supports womens heart disease education. What was I thinking with two back to back events?
Keep on sweatin'

My physical therapist let me run for 10 minutes tonight before she tortured me. It felt like my right shin was going to spontaneously combust... but I could do it. : )
