Welcome to the board!  Can't wait to follow your journey with you!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Hey Julia - are you bringing Paul's son tomorrow to Liz's?  I am trying to decide if I want to talk Joshua into coming with me!

Steffi,

Unfortunately we won't be at Liz's tomorrow.  We're going to Lancaster to celebrate my mom's 75th birthday.  (Birthday was a month ago, but this is the first time we could all get together.)  I'm gonna miss you guys tomorrow!!!

Thanks!  Tomorrow will be fun.  We're also celebrating Anson's 16th birthday, which is next week.  And I'll be seeing family that I haven't seen in several months.

I'm hoping to get to the next Sat. meeting and bring a friend who wants to have wls.  I'm encouraging her to go to several info seminars to meet different docs before she decides.

Good morning Nicole and all of PA - I too am geting to the nail salon today - definitely a refill - not sure abou tthe pedi - toes are looking good - but I still deserve it! :)

Last night was the viewing for our OFficer Tom who died last week.  There were so many of my students and they were all crying....it wa breaking my heart.  As veiwings are not my typical practice when it comes to the death of loved ones, I always have anxiety about it.  However, being like a mother hen to my kids helped me get through it. And it seems that his wife knew about me and my weight loss and that her husband called me "bones"  That made me smile!

Today is his funeral, not sure how many of my students will be in school, but I will be going.  I wanted to make sure that the majority of the faculty and support staff could go to the funeral, so I will be covering one of the lunches to help alleviate any stress about those wanting to leave the building.  The whole office staff will be out of the building and we have teachers covering the office and many of us covering the lunches so that the support staff can also feel no guilt about going to his funeral.

It should be an emotional day to say the least.  After school, I will go to get my nails done - after all, I am seeing so many of you tomorrow and my nails HAVE to be perfect! :)  Then tonight is a quiet night at home with the kids.  Looks like facebook and ignoring children is in my future!  Yay ME! :)

Have a great Friday everyone! :)

It's so nice to know there are people out there who care.

Glad you are there for both your students and fellow staff members.
