quick update on my pouch test

So, since September or so I've been struggling big time with my pouch and my motivation and the scale not moving.  I have been grateful for the fact that my clothing sizes were dropping but was so frustrated with the scale.

The scale has gone up and down between about 171-178, staying mostly toward the upper end of that range for the past few months.  Last week, I was 178.

Got on the scale this morning after doing this pouch test with sheer determination this week.  This morning, the scales says 171.4!!!   WOO HOO!!   Yes, it is still in that range, BUT it is at the bottom of the range.  This week, alone, between being sick and doing the pouch test, I was able to take off the 7 lbs!!!

Now, to bring that 2nd number to a 6!

I hope anyone who is struggling or frustrated can read this and realize that it doesn't matter how long you have been stalled.. you CAN get the scale moving again!!!

Keep it up!!  Fantastic!!!  Remember that as you recover from being sick your body may rebound a little bit - but you know darn well that your sheer determination is there and you CAN conquer this!

I've definitely thought about that Pam.  I've been pretty healthy in the belly area since Tuesday, so I think I have recovered from whatever the hell I had.

But, I am definitely in the right frame of mind now and WILL beat this thing!  Next time I post my weight will be when the 2nd number is a 6!

Thanks Eric.. you're doing great with it, too.  That, plus your C25K training... I bet your scale moved, too.

good job I really do believe that the pouch test can work. It shows you how much of the hunger is in your head and how little we really do need. I am glad for you, my modified pouch test went well last week. I have stayed on shakes for breakfast and lunch because it is easier and have not gotten on the scale but i can tell a difference in my clothes
