Trail Ride Info

I spoke with Don at Skyline Stables and this is the information he gave me on trail rides.
They can do 10 riders at a time. The ride including saddling up and instruction is about an hour.  If there are more than 10 riders they will take you 10 at a time and the other people who are waiting are treated to a hayride. It is 25.00 per person, 7 and up. There is a 220 lb weight limit depending on height. they have 100 acres and the trail is through trees and down a path in their woods, he says that there is alot of wildlife.
No deposit is required but they do require a firm head count because they bring staff in based on the number of riders. Lets say we tell them 30 are coming and only 15 show up, there may be an increased cost per rider to supplement. He says that they have lots of space and an area with picnic tables, so if we wanted to do the ride and then have a picnic together that is fine to just let them know.
Their location is between Reading, Allentown and Kutztown area. It is within an hr of most of the people who have expressed interest.

These are the dates that we are looking at. April 24-25. May 23rd which is a Sunday.
Or we could do some dates in June.

I'm interested for sure.  I cannot make it at all the weekend of April 24,25 but I can make it May 23.

If the general consensus is for April, I'll go next time.

I am really, really interested, but can't do any of those dates.  I have a workshop the 24 - 26th of April and am leaving May 23rd for Boston for 3 days for a work conference.

If any other dates come up, I want to be there!!! I love trail rides and have not done one since losing weight!

I can't do that weekend in April either, but I think May 23 would be OK. (May 23 would be my dad's 87th birthday.) Other dates are probably fine, if we need to look at other times.

I also couldn't do the april one.

The may one is up in the air right now..my schedule isn't out.  I know I am definately working the night before...but the night of I'm not real positive about.  But it could look promising, and/or I could work on a switch.

Let me know when you decide on a date and I will let you know if I am definately coming

May 23 looks great for Larry and I - my only concern is that it is my last day of Hebrew School and I will not be able to get out of there until noon.  What time are we thinking about?  I will be at the turnpike entrance at Route 309 - so not too far away!
