"no, like pin up smoking hot"
Ok...so the concept was a joke, but the compliment was not.
At work, some of the 3-11 ppl were jokingly referring to making a "calendar" of all the "smoking hot nurses" to "sell" to make extra money for the department...all in fun and games. So one of the guys says "Well, who would be on it" to which another one responded "My first pick would be Pam, the one on night shift....she's totally smoking hot....like pin up smoking hot" Not to many people on 3-11 know about my surgery due to me not working with them closely due to hours....
Another one, who KNEW about my surgery said "Oh - absolutely! She IS! And the amount of work she has put into it....unbelievable" The conversation turned to my weight loss, surgery etc. The one who initially said it (who didn't know...) came to me and asked (without telling me why he was asking...just that he had "heard a rumor") Of course I gladly told him...and showed him pictures....which was met with the response "That's obviously not you. A relative, maybe. Someone with your eyes and smile..but definately not you"
I've been called tiny. small. skinny. cute. "legs" (hysterical for someone 5'3" by the way). And probably even "hot" although I believe I struck that word out of my memory. But "pin up smoking hot"
