Good morning all,

Did you survive the holiday and stay or track?  Or did ya succumb to temptation?

I stayed on track yesterday.  I went to the gym for 2 hours in the morning and stayed very focused with what I ate.  I even took 2 additional walks during the day yesterday.

Result was that I lost a pound and feel great this morning.

How did you do?

Geoff

I hadn't planned on going to the gym due to my work schedule....

But yes, my eating stayed on track.  I, in fact, didn't even have the chocolate covered strawberries I made for work.  Back to the gym tonight and tomorrow morning!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

I stayed on track I dont get tempted by the candy etc. WHen you have gone without sugar as long as I have it becomes a non issue. Not even a temptation. Jason had cadbury mini eggs which used to be my favorite and I was fine.
Even got a little excercise

Was mostly on Track.  ;-)  had two pieces of SF chocolate candy.  Had all my protein.  Had an extra unplanned meal of deviled egg and ham late in the evening.

back to exercise and eating only on the plan today.

Geoff,

Good for you!!

I stayed mostly on track - my deviation was not an intentional one.  I forgot I had made the strawberry shortcake with regular angel food because I coudln't find my regular SF one... and I had a piece.  Sigh.  Ah well - back to abstinence now.

My gym was closed yesterday, but my exercise for the day was a bunch of construction and organizing, so I was far from sedentary ;-).

 Hiya Karen,

Glad to see your post.  How have you been.  Looks like your doing great with your weight loss.  Your sooooo close to goal.  You must be getting very excited.

I'm a mix of excited, scared, and frustrated, because things slooooow down as you get close to goal.  So the last "few" pounds are taking forever to shed and are filled with much angst and head-games.  But I'm getting through it and dealing with it.

You're doing amazingly well and are also getting really close to your goals!  That's great.  I hope you're feeling good!
