Moody Monday Roll Call
I'm moody today...but that's typical for me in the morning...especially a Monday morning. Just hoping my clients aren't moody! Nothing exciting here today...spending 8 hours in hell (I mean "work"), then home for dinner, then to karate. I have been reading like a maniac lately so I will probably finish the newest book "Big Girl" by Danielle Steel. I don't really like her style of writing, but the story is pretty good.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all. I am in a good mood, mostly because i don't have to go to work today! lol
I have a lot of clean up to do from the Easter festivities yesterday then I'll enjoy some time outside and just relaxing. I have to prep food for the week and I'll make dinner too.
I have to call my Uncle at some point to see if he has a part for me, if he does I might go pick it up, we'll see how I feel. IF I go up there I'll also stop off at Walmart for a few things.
Oh yea- have to call the anestesiologist today too, I have some lower back isses and want to make sure that their office is aware and see if they want to meet with me or anything before the baby comes - I want the epidural so I am taking ALL precautions! lol
Enjoy the gorgeous weather today all!

I'm hoping today is NOT moody... and Pam, I'm sorry you've had to deal with moody patients. That really must suck, especially in a hectic ER. And there's just no excuse (elderly or not) for someone throwing that kind of crap at a nurse who's doing their best to care for their every need. Period.
Nicole - pardon my asking, but isn't moodiness WHY you have patients? (sorry... just had to go there.) ;-)
Yesterday was a better day for me - I got the whole backsplash installed while Eddie was at work, had the windows open and the radio on and my mom stayed completely away from me. Becky and Eric showed up mid-afternoon and helped get a bunch of cleaning and organizing done, so the house is starting to feel more manageable. Whew.
Wasn't a bad eating day, although one major mis-step with dessert and was "disorganized." I totally forgot I had made the strawberry shortcake with regular angel food because I coudln't find the sugar-free and I had a piece. I can't dump, but I sure felt nauseous all night and still feel icky today. Ah well - lesson learned and I'm actually kinda glad it happened and that I felt bad from it - reinforces that abstinence from sugar really does have a long-term effect in recalibrating the body, even without the re-routing of bypass plumbing.
Today I'm back at work for the first time since last Monday, trying to catch up. Feels like I'm doing a lot of that lately. Hopefully this will be "it" for emergencies and life can get back to normal (whatever that is).
Enjoy this blast of amazing weather and soak it in.

Well I feel like crap today. We had a beautiful day out at the LV Zoo yesterday and stopped at a diner for dinner. I ate a broiled crab cake and felt ok for the rest of the night.. went to bed so I could get up for work this morning. Woke up around 1am and then again around 5, dripping in cold sweat with terrible diarrhea (sorry if TMI) no fever..
I felt so weak I just crawled back into bed and called off work. I never call in sick, especially since I started working from home. But, I have no energy at all. First I thought maybe I was dumping, but I think I may have come down with a bug. So, I am trying to sip mint tea and water, but I feel nauseous every time I do. Apparently I cannot throw up now because I am not even dry heaving.
Cancelled Siehara's orthodontist appt and am just laying in bed all day.. my child is disappointed that she is not going but oh well.. mommy's health has to come first sometimes. I can't have someone else take her because they were going to discuss placing a retainer and I need to be there to make that decision.
Question.... should I take imodium to help the diarrhea or just try to let it run it's course?

So I feel a little better until I get up. Then I feel weak. I'm sure that has a lot to do with not having any food in my system. I am sipping tea and water when I am awake. I had said that I was going to the pouch test this week to detox from Passover but this isn't exactly the way I planned to do it. Guess this is day 1. If I feel well enough for synagogue tomorrow for the last day, I'll just stick to liquids and have my shakes before and after services.
I just took one imodium. Let's see if that helps at all.
