Easter Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning Everyone,
Easter Blessings to all who celebrate.  I had an awesome time with the grandkids Saturday.  Pics are on their way.

Sunday has me heading to an AA meeting at some point.  Also, church service, hopefully with the Munchkins.  In the afternoon, I will head over to my sister's for leftovers.  We had enough food to feed the army, so there are plenty of leftovers.

I must spend some time grading some papers for school.  Spring Break was way too short this year.

Hope you all make good food choices.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Trish!

So glad to hear you had a great time with the kiddos. It was a beautiful day so I am sure you got some great pics!

I am up way too early this morning. I had a terrible dream. Jantzen woke up for a bottle and I just couldn't get back to sleep. So I am up, sipping coffee, and waiting a little while until I go hide the eggs in the yard for Riley. This is the first year I am doing this, since previous years she was too young to understand.

After the baskets are given and kids eat breakfast, we will all shower and play until it's time to head to my Nan & Pop's for Easter dinner. A few hours there and then home.

I have to study hard core this evening for a Human Bio test that covers 4 chapters. So my evening will consist of reading, and make note cards.

Hope everyone has a glorious day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Trish glad you had fun with the Munchkins and that you have more good times coming today. ALso glad to see you are making the AA meetings a priority even with the distractions of family. Jodi good luck studying sounds like you have a nice day planned in any event.

I am at work again this am but just for 2 hours during dosing. We got the word that we got our CARF Certification and are the best at what we do in the whole state so that is good. That is what the goal was.

After work I am hoping to get some flowers and plant them. God help me never done that before.
I am not sure what will be open. I dont really do Easter so I always forget that things may not be open.  Have a wonderful day and enjoy.

Happy Easter as well!

My "easter basket" this morning was filled with day shift relief being ten mins early AND no patients in my area to report off on....so I was home by 7:20.  I can tell you in the past 18 mos that has happened...maybe 2 other times :)  I was THRILLED

Came home and made some chocolate covered strawberries for work tonight (I didn't have sf chocolate on hand...so I used the dark chocolate chips I did have...so I should be ok to have one or two)

Finishing up here in just a moment and getting to bed...probably before nine!  Gasp!

Back to work tonight, 3 of 3 and then four off!

Good morning Trish and all of PA - Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate.  I am looking forward to a quiet day of putting Molly's room back together.  I do have an appointment this morning with the director of the camp that I am going ot be working at this sunner.  then the rest of the day is mine to do with it what I want to do.

I would like to get to Target to get some storage and cutesy things for Molly's room, not sure of their hours today, butthat is a possibility - also, like Trish - I have a TON of grading to do.  I schlepped it all home and needless to say - did not look at any of it at all! :)  36 more hours of this Passover nonsense and I can go back to NOT eating reinfed carbs - damned matzah! :) And I have my one year-post-op appointment with Dr. P tomorrow afternoon - looking forward to it with a little trepidation as, and again I mention those damned refined carbs, I am a bit worried.  Who the hell schedules their one-year appointment on the LAST DAY OF PASSOVER?!?!  Sometimes I am not that bright!  (Yes...just SOMETIMES!!!!!!!)

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday celebrating Spring in all its glory! :)

Happy Easter Trish,
Well, I found the Amish Market...WOW!  I can't wait to go back with my husband.  I did get a key lime pie to take to my sister-n-laws today.  My kids made me buy some chocolate covered strawberries...LIL is that bad!

Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate. Right now I am just laying around. Later we are going to head to the LV zoo. According to their website they are open today so I will take the chance and drive up. It's not that far from me and I really want to go. If not, I'll track down Eric's house and crash Easter dinner... LOL. Nothing else going on here today as far as I know.

Hope everyone takes advantage of the beautiful weather and gets outside for part of it!

What a beautiful Sunday! I hope everyone has a chance to get out in the sunshine!

We are celebrating Easter with a quiet day. It may not bee the "Traditional" dinner, but I want to fire up the grill and make bbq chicken. I love the smell of charcoal on the grill!

We'll call all the kids and parents today....literally from WA to CA to AZ to MI to VT and points in between. Have to wait for the time zones to be just right for those out west.

Trish, I saw that MSU went down last night in the final four. At least it was a nailbiter 52-50 game. Enjoy your little ones while they are still in town!

Enjoy your day everyone!

Good afternoon everyone and Happy Easter to those who are celebrating.  Woke up this morning, placed the baskets and eggs out for girls to find.  Nothing like starting the day with some chocolate.  No wonder they won't nap!

The girls and I went to church.  They normally go to Children's Church in the first 15 minutes of worship, but Easter Sunday is family worship and there is no CC.  The girls did great for the most part, sat through the entire service and communion too.  Very proud of their behavior.

Just me and Hannah at home now, getting ready to go to my in-laws.  Hannah wanted to take a nap and Ryleigh wanted to go to Nana's.  So we split them up.  Needless to say, the nap effort was shortlived and she is up, ready to go now.

Lisa, feel free to crash our dinner.  We're having ham though, might that be an issue.  Oh, also, I never got around to making the bacon dressing last night.  Had a big case of the F-it's last night.  Just keep in mind, if you crash Easter dinner, I'm totally crashing a Seder next year and bringing my SF Hot Bacon Dressing....

Enjoy the beautiful day everyone!
