***Stupendous Saturday Roll Call***

Alright Pa...where the heck have you been?  Outside enjoying the weather and time with families and such nonsense?   There's been VERY little activity for me to comment on while here in triage (Steff - weren't you looking forward to this???)

Anywho - Saturday.  Supposed to be a GREAT day yet again!  Hopefully you all have something fun planned even if it's just to sit in the yard with the family!

Depends on how I feel if I go to the gym or not....

I made a sf orange creamscicle pie yesterday for work tonight and need to whip up some whipped cream to decorate it with...

Then bed time.  Depending on how hot it might get...I might actually have to turn on the damn ac.  Frig!  That's the one thing I HATE about working nights...I need to keep the windows closed due to the sun and daytime noise.....no air circulation.....so I end up needing to turn on the air....my bedroom was up to 76 yesterday...and that's about as much as I can tolerate.

Back to work tonight...night two of three and then four off.  Not a bad gig!

Hey Pam sorry we were not around to entertain you ROFL. Times like these you could blog in your profile for a newbie. You would be surprised at how many of them read it and send comments thanking me for writing in it.  We had the air on as soon as it got above 70, my English man does not do sun or heat.

I am at work this am from 5:30-9:30am. Then we are heading to the farmers market to stock up. Trying really hard to stick with protein shakes. meats and veggies. so far so good well for the most part. anything i ate off the plan were due to poor planning not emotional eating and even then the thing i ate was not that bad nor was it a trigger food.

I am reading a new book that I really recommend. It is called  50 Ways to Soothe Yourself Without Food. Good book.

I hope you have a good day gonna be really nice. I have never planted a thing in my life a garden flower nothing. I toyed with the idea of planting something this weekend. What should I plant and how the heck do I start?? Any ideas anyone?

Get in touch w/ Liz about the gardening.

Yes, she is sickening - she cooks, she bakes, she gardens, blah blah blah.  Like little suzie homemaker.  She has a garden plus all kinds of flowers

You ARE all of that - and THAT'S why it's sickening!  lol.  When I grow up, I want to be just like you - be able to do it all, all the time, and always smiling!!!!

I have the spring planting itch bad!!! Basically any of the flowers that are out at the garden centers now you can plant. Veggies - the general rule of thumb is after Mother's Day. Espcially for tomatoes, corn, eggplant and "warm weather" things. Most herbs are OK to put in mid-april. We are prepping my gardens next weekend and I hope to have everything in before baby comes.

What do you want to plant??

I know you LOVE daffodils - put some bulbs in in the fall and they will bloom next spring for you

Hope that helps!

Liz

PS - gardening would be one of my items in the "soothing with out food" book

Good morning all,

Happy Saturday!!!  I am going to go to the gym for a 2 hour workout this morning.  I am ready to go now, but they don't open til 8am.

I need to start getting my protein up so I think I will make various seafood in tomatoe sauce.

Pam, was glad to see that the shorts still fit, that's great, and hope you get motivated to take the 5-7 lbs you gained, off.  We all know from past experience how easy it is for that to turn into 15 lbs and start us spiraling.  I am so determined to take off half of the 20 lbs I have left.  I know I will feel so much more comfortable.

I went out a couple of weeks ago and bought some new clothes and already they are starting to get to big....lol.  That's a great feeling.

I hope everyone has an awesome day!!

Good morning Pam and all of PA - Pam - You did quite nicely adding to posts over here - now get on over to FB and jump on some of my friends- they deserve it! :)

So it is Saturday morning and I was up at 6:30 AM - I guess gettin gup on Monday wont be so difficult as I have not been able to sleep past 7 these last few days.  Oh well....2.5 months left then my summer can begin!  YAY! :)

Today I will be heading to Barix for an afternoon of support and fun.  I look forward to these days.  Larry is picking up Emily this morning from his mom, I miss that little face and will be glad to hug her when I get home tonight.  We have no plans this evening, Larry will cook something yummy and kosher and then we will get some things done in Molly's room.  She slept in it last night and was VERY happy to climb into her new room! :) Looking forward to getting to Target to get some accessories to go with the new furniture!  Tomorrow I am meeting with the director of the camp that I will be working at this summer.  Then getting some things back to normal as we head back to school on Monday.  however, good news - I will be testing for two weeks and will most likely be BORED to tears - so be ready with your wit and sarcasm for I may HAVE to post to keep me awake ! :)

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Easter weekend and enjoy what mother nature has given to us! :)

Good Morning!!!

Up early this morning....Going out for breakfast with the family. Then last minute preparations for our trip to Disney!! I am still trying to decide if I want to stop by the Barix meeting for a little bit or not. I really would like to, but will have to see how the day goes. Going to bed EARLY this evening to get up in the middle of the night to be picked up by Dave's Limo and off to the airport!!!

I will miss all of you, but I am REALLY looking forward to our family vacation/weight loss celebration/Dee's seventh birthday surprise at DisneyWorld!!!!
