Huh. How about that!
So....this made me smile. I guess like a wow moment!
I went through my closet the other day to get all my winter stuff folded and put up (I weeded throught them, too...if I didn't wear it all season for WHATEVER reason...it didn't get put back in my closet) and all my spring/summer stuff down.
And right before I did it I thought to myself "yea...see what you need to buy because you ALWAYS have to get new stuff after a rough winter" (read: I get fatter each winter and need bigger shorts than the year before)
Now, granted, the past TWO summers have been quite the opposite...but still....the 24 years prior have more of a lasting impression on this thick skull of mine.
Pulled em out...and tried them on...and what do you know....they still freaking fit. (I know...I know..of COURSE they fit....) I have gained the 5-7 pounds I've been *****ing about for months now...but not apparantly enough to make me not fit into my clothes.
I was a VERY happy girl! Now...onto laundry, lol

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

That's awesome. I have a feeling that I'll be buying summer clothes this year because i was still very much in shrinking stage last summer... I doubt anythign will fit. But this will be the first year that it's because they're too BIG... what a difference! I haven't assimilated the "stable sizes" thing yet - still not quite stable. In any sense of the word. haha.
