FANTASTIC FRIDAY ROLL CALL

Good morning all!  Many of you already have the day off - enjoy it!  Anywhere between 78-82 degrees outside from what I hear!

To those continuing to celebrate Passover - enjoy.  Unlike Jodi, I don't have a repitoire of Jewish/Yiddish words to throw at you!

To those beginning the Holy Weekend with Good Friday - enjoy the time with your families and friends.  I'm still not sure how we got chocolate bunnies and eggs to recognize the resurrection of a man - but hey - we'll take it as long as it's sugar free, right?

Eric and Erin - HAPPY 5TH YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!!!  Eric...you DID get at the very least a card and scribble something down on it?  Please?

On my agenda today - going to the gym for spin class in a little while.

Home to pack food for tonight and hang around the house.

I also want to work on my resume as it's been well over 2 years since I've done that. and hopefully it will be needed sometime soon.  Still gathering info and also talking to people.

And then later this afternoon, hopefully around one, take a nap before work.

I already know I'm in triage tonight - a position that although I started out HATING am kind of learning how to enjoy it.  Hopefully it goes as a decent night and I get to be all sarcastic cruising the boards here ;)

Enjoy the wonderful weather!

Pam

Good Friday Morning PA and Pam,
I intend for this to be a GOOD Friday in many ways.  First, I am having a procedure this morning that should stop the pain I have been having, which has gotten worse in recent days.  Second, my Munchkins are coming to town today.  I hope I get to see them.

I am also hoping that there is less conflict with my daughter and her hubby.  My sister is having an Easter dinner and egg hunt tomorrow.  My daughter only wanted the egg hunt.  We celebrate Easter with dinner when possibly.  Daughter's in-laws don't.  Son-in-law wants to watch the NCAA Final Four alone, at my ex's.  Michigan State game is at 6:00.  They are HUGE MSU fans.  I feel some sort of way because we are going to have the game on at my sister's.

Anyway, I intend to enjoy my grandchildren as much has possible.  Today, I must focus on my back.  Right now, I am thirsty and wishing it were over, as I am having anesthesia, and can't eat or drink.  My sis-in-law is driving me to the doctor's.

Have a blessed weekend, however you celebrate.

Hugs,
Trish

Just a work day for me today, but I think I'm going to give my feet a treat and get a pedicure. At least the "accountability" for my office time will be almost zero today because it is Good Friday and many schools are closed, so the phone won't be ringing.

I am having a little bit of an "adjustment" about this holiday weekend. In my first marriage and years of raising kids, my house was always the gathering place for holidays...even to a fault sometimes. But we made great memories. Now, in a 2nd marriage and with kids grown and spread all over the US, we only have one daughter near us (about an hour away), and she is in love and spending every moment with her new sweetie up in the Poconos. So we will be just the 2 of us on Easter Sunday. I will do a nice dinner and we'll spend the day together, but I have some bittersweet feelings about it all. The memories are good ones though.  (LOL that said, last Easter we had our 2 baby granddaughters here for 5 days, and it wore me out!)

Wishing everyone a beautiful day of sunshine. Hope we can all get out and absorb some Vitamin D!

morning Pam and PA.  I'm up getting ready to start my work day.  Aetna does NOT shut down for Good Friday.  I personally don't care since I don't observe, but there are many people who have a major issue with it, as well they should since it is a National holiday and all. There are many battles for getting this day off every year.

Anyway, after work, I guess we will go to Sarah and David's for dinner and then who knows what.  Is the Promenade open tonight? Should be, right.. we can go there instead of the regular mall since it is so nice out.

That's about it for me.  I hope everyone spends their weekend in the spirit of whatever holidays you celebrate.

Happy Anniversary Eric and Erin!

yes, everything is still open today - only some stores close on sunday. I saw today that Home Depot is open on Easter though so I am sure the majority of places will be - enjoy your day!

No day off for me. We have a CARF AUDIT going on today and tomorrow. Typical running around with last minute things. It should make the day go by fast though. So hang on to your hats. Have a great one PA

Good morning Pam and PA,

I'm working today through Monday since I volunteered to work the holiday.  Some of the in-house people are taking off and they need us ICs to pick up the slack....I can start in the wee hours of the morning and be finished early enough to enjoy the day....best part about being self-employed - lol

I'm planning to attend the Barix meeting tomorrow -- I love the meetings and spending time with such awesome friends, new and old.  It should be a lovely drive since it's going to be a nice day and I have a brand new car to drive - woo hoo!  Well, I'd best get back to work.

Happy Easter/Passover to everyone.

Blessings,

Debbie

Good morning Pam and all of PA - Pam - I am looking forward to reading the sarcasm as you sit in Triage tonight.....Should be fun for the rest of us! :)

So this morning I am already aggravated!  Remeber the Girl Scout Cookies that I stupidly volunteered to handle!?!?!  It is now becoming a major money issue and I am pissed!  They are saying thatI ow about $700 which is soooo NOT right - in my calculations, it shouldbe about $200.  UGH!  I think I am going to have to spend the day figuring this **** out today - NOT HAPPY!  I will NOT do this again!

Anyway - Larry and Josh started priming Molly's room last night, Larry came to bed sooooo happy - I think he just loved spending the day working with Josh.  First on the car and then in Molly's room.   Josh seemed real proud of himself and Larry just loved spending the time with him.  And the jobs went faster too.  Love my boys.  Molly's furniture is coming today - so depending on how far Larry and Josh get with the painting, we may be able to put her funiture in her room tonight.  Cool!  I will certainly be taking pictures and posting on FB.  Tonight we are having dinner with my Aunt and Uncle - we normally go there for the first night of Passover, however, my uncle had a mild heart attack three weeks ago in Florida on business and my aunt wasn't up for everything - and now she is feeling guilty about NOT having us over so we are heading over tonight.  We all survived dinner at my sister's - as per usual the kids were all over the place - deliberately spilling water on the table just so they could lick it off the plastic....my sister and her hubby do NOTHING about it....The baby threw up all over my daughter's friend who was feeding him and didn't think to tell us that, "yes - he does it all the time, we have talked to the doctors and they told us he would outgrow it."  We dropped off a toddler bed and matresses that we no longer need as well as bikes and puzzles and Larry and Josh carried everything as my BIL ignored his children, and Larry didn't even get a thank you...so - all in all - a typical evening with my sister's family.

Looking forward to spending the day at Barix tomorrow - I am nervous about getting on the scale as Passover is getting harder and harder and when I am hungry - which I AM getting this week - not my normal, I am heading for the damned Matzah becuase I do't know what other snak to have if it is between meals and late at night.  Oh well, it is only one week right?!?!

Have a great Friday and those that are celebrating have a wonderful and spiritual Easter weekend.

Good morning PA!

Trish---Good luck with your procedure this morning!  I hope it gives you relief!

Eric and Eric---Happy anniversary!!!

We're still at the beach.  We'll go out walking and metal detecting later today.  We're sure not expecting to get rich with the metal detector, but it's fun to see what we can find.  Yesterday we found 24 cents and half a pair of glasses.  And a lot of scrap metal.  It amazes me what's buried in the sand.  I took a bag along to collect trash like that.  Anyway, we'll be leaving here tomorrow and heading to my mom's house in Lancaster for a couple of days.

We finally did my taxes last night.  I need to finish up the state return and file both.  I'll be glad when that's done and out of the way!!

Have an awesome day, everyone!!!

Good (late) morning All!!

I've been a busy girl already. Was up and at the grocery store at 7am and YES it was already crowded! I had a hard time making it through the store which surprised me - I was getting lots of Braxton Hicks contractions (the practice ones, not the real deal) but it worried me a bit. Came home and tried to lay down for a bit and the mattress guys showed up - an HOUR early! They were supposed to come between 10-2 and were here at 9! Glad that I was home in time. It took them less then 5 minutes to carry it up and put it upstairs. Chris carried all the groceries in for me and helped me put them away. I got the custard made for a dip for Easter and the ****tail sauce. I'm taking a break now then will begin my baking. This afternoon I want to get outside and sit in the sun for a bit. I was going to go for a walk along the canal but after the issues in the grocery store this morning I think it's better to lay low.

Have a great day all!!

Pam - Eric did get Erin something and it sounds beautiful!

Happy 5th Anniversary Erin & Eric!
