Good morning everybody.

What's on the fitness agenda for the day?

I did an hour on the elliptical, and have now crashed at my desk, prepping my coffee and getting ready for a busy day.

Good Morning Norm -

I'll hit the gym this afternoon for 30 minutes on the treadmill, 30 minutes weight/resistance training and 10-20 minutes on the elliptical.

I did my hour on the elliptical this morning and will be watching what I put in my mouth. Have a good day!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

After biking and hiking yesterday I will be taking it easy today because I have over done it and I am hurting again.   I will do my physical therapy exercises and walk/run on the treadmill for my 10:2 Xs 3.  Two steps forward one step back.... THIS SUCKS!  Yes, I am yelling.  Sorry, just super frustrated.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!

Morning, Norm!

Got to the gym, realizing I had left my slacks at home so would have to cut my workout short to go home and get them.  Sigh.

Did 10 minutes on the treadmill and a full weight circuit anyway.  Just did the reps faster than usual and said screw it, i'll be late for work.  Funny thing - the world didn't end!

I overdid it yesterday too.   Don't know where the burst of energy came from but I acted on it and now I'm beat.    Cleaning out the garage and shed, sweeping and hauling for 3 or 4 hours, Gosh am I sore.    My hubby says to me this a.m. ...."it was JUST sweeping!"   My reply, "it was the same repetitive motion as sculling a boat", if I did that for 3 or 4 hours you'd call me an ATHLETE!   Obviously I'm not ready for the Dad Vail Regatta.   Gym tomorrow....

I did my hour on the treadmill this afternoon.  I wasn't into it and wanted to quit halfway through, but I made myself keep going.
