*** Super Early Sunday Roll Call ***
I am soooo looking forward to seeing the pictures from Liz's baby shower yesterday - it seemed like fun was had by all who were able to attend....
Today has me hanging around in the morning - No hebrew school becuase of Spring Break - getting the girls off to another dance recital - last one of the season. Then friends with their baby are coming over. There will be house cleaning for Passover and I need to go to the market at some point to get the foods we need for the holdiay. Sadly I still have two days of work ahead of me due to the snow days - BUT THEY WERE STILL WORTH IT!
I hope you all have a wonderful and relaxing Sunday!
Then I will come home and make a meat loaf - one of Mike's faves. Then probably kick back for a while...walk 4 or 5 miles this afternoon. Not sure what order any of that will end up being in!
Generally, a calm day.
I'm working on overcoming an "attitude" because or Easter Sunday is not turning out to be the kind of day I would like it to be. Actually what I am dealing with in my own mind is a change of traditions, partly because of proximity to family members and partly because of some obligations we have to fulfill, and partly because of the relationship with family members that are here. There's a whole dang soap opera drama going on with Mike's daughter...and while I usually steer wide and clear of the "drama' nests, this one is like a train wreck that I can't resist looking at. Gotta work on that. Now where's that Serenity Prayer when you need it!!!!
Hope all of you enjoy your Sunday.
And oh yeah! I finally lost 2 more pounds - for a total of 90 lost from my highest weight. (At the stage now where EVERY pound...EVERY half pound....is appreciated!!!)
Good Morning Steffi & PA:
Getting ready for church. Then have a congregation meeting after service. Then a meeting with our Pastor to see what Gene and I will be reading for our Maudy Thursday service. Later tonight we are off to yet another church where a friend is performing in a concert.
Somewhere in this busy day I have to get some wash done. It is also time to bring down another smaller bag of clothes from upstairs to go through and see what fits and wash up and put into my closet. Eveyone keeps telling me my current clothes are hanging on me. I perfer to think they are comfy And they are perfectly good clothes I want to get some more use out of them before they go to the clothing donation center.
Had to get a new phone yesterday, my old one from 2003 finally decided it no longer wanted to do anything but text so Gene said it was time. Me I was happy to be able to text but then he pointed out that in an emergency I would not be able to make a call so I had to give in. I loved my old phone. I know how to work it. Now I have the phone that has a keyboard, so I have to get out all the literature and figure out how this darn thing works. I do not like buying new technology!
Hope everyone has an awesome day.....

I had a good night's sleep, which I desperately needed. Took Utley for his walk and am home still trying to wake up.
Today has me heading to church, and then to the grocery store for a few items. Then home to clean up the mess I made with my sewing project. I have to get ready for the munchkins who are arriving at the end of the week.
Have a great day.
Hugs,

THis morning my Mom is going to come over and take a look and help me sort through all the wonderful gifts we received yesterday. I also need to get the house prepped for Easter. Chris has requested stuffed shells for dinner so I'll be making up a big batch and freezing some for later.
HAve a good day all
Liz
We had a wonderful time yesterday at Liz's shower!!!
I think this morning we're going to go out for a walk. One of our favorite breakfast places has opened again (it was closed and up for sale but now open for a few hours on weekends), so I think we'll go for breakfast while out walking. Nothing else planned for today, which is fine.
Have a great day, everyone!!
It is going to be a rainy day here in Erie, so we probably won't do much of anything else either. Thats ok, because I am still drained from this first week of teaching. Once I get back into the swing of things, there won't be any trouble at all!
Have a wonderful day all, and enjoy whats left of your weekend!
