I have to laugh about Eric asking for a lesson on Passovers and Seder's. A friend in college mentioned a Seder's and was appalled that I didn't know what it was. She insisted that I had to know, that I was Jewish. She finally stopped arguing with me when I told her that my dad was an Episcopal priest.

I have never led a seder in my home.  I always go to someone else's home.  So far, everyone I have gone to has been a full seder.  Albeit shorter than a FULL seder, it includes all the required parts.  Growing up, I was always the youngest and had to recite the Four Questions.  Now, my daughter has been the one for the past few years.  She will have to do them tonight, but probably not tomorrow.

I went to the Rabbi's house last year and was actually quite impressed that we were NOT there until the wee hours of the morning.

I'm another one of the jews in training on this board and must say, I like the little lessons.

It contaminates the whole house?  Oy!

And the bris...hee hee
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
