***Finally Friday Roll Call***

Good morning everyone!  Home from work and relaxing before I get some sleep.  Busy day tomorrow; up early, haircut and then Easter pictures with the girls.  I love having their picture taken, but hate that we always have to wait forever when we go to that place.  After pictures, we'll probably do lunch and then home so I can be at work at 2.  Work middle shift till midnight. 

I'm actually off all weekend (except for on-call one night).  Lot of stuff going on this weekend, working on the old house, etc...

I am up bright and early. Heading to pick my sister up. Her & I are heading south! We are going to Charlotte for the weekend for a Bachelorette Party. her best friend since 5th grade is the bride. It will be great to have a weekend away with my sister and her friends.

what happened to spring?  It was snowing last night!

Today is another work day and an evening at home.  We are down to one car but I can see the benefit of this.  All works out for the good.

Hi all. It is supposed to snow here today as well, we just have snow, wind and rain right now. Go figure.  I am actually a little ok with it in some respects. I am not quite ready to give up my winter clothes yet, I do love them. 
Today I am working I get to leave 2 hrs early because I am working on sunday for 2 hrs. Should be a pretty calm day today. I hope. I plan to run a few errands after work then get my house straight because we have dinner with friends tonight and a very busy weekend. Any of you FB friends have seen my quest for a cleaning service. A friend of mine who is often pay check to pay check, she is a stay at home mom, husband works in production so he makes an ok salary but they still struggle on one income. This friend has offered to clean my house and do the same amount of work the service would do for a little less not much but a little. I have agreed to this because I know she needs the $, she is NO lazy person for sure, Jason feels more comfortable with her in our home then a stranger, and she is comfortable in our home because she feeds our cats when we go away. My biggest concern is this,,,,what if I end up not being able to afford it every month, it would be harder to stop the service. What do you all think would be appropriate guidelines to set now. ??

Nicole, I have had cleaning services for a long time - some good, some not so good. Ahead of time set up you list of what you expect to be done - be very clear about it. (I have a list I can e mail you if you message me the address). For her sake, set up how you will pay her (leave a check is the most common but theone I have now asks that payment is mailed in). Set up the schedule and discuss how to handle cancellations or rescheduling. This can be a problem with an individual vs. a service - I have actually fired cleaning people over cancelling too often. Will she bring her children? And I think you need to set this up as a trial period to see how it fits your budget - tell her you are going to try it for 3 months, or 6 months, or whatever. At that point, you have an "out" if the money is to tight.

I do know a good service in the Lanc. area if you ever need a recommendation.

Lynn thanks that is good advice. I will use it. If it does not work out I will definately get your referral. Since Jason feels better with her, ( because he pitched a fit when i first tried hiring someone) I am gonna try this. I will lay it out to her as you have said. She wont be brining the child, that is one of the reasons why scheduling make be hard to do consistently because her husband or mom will have to be around to watch her. Thank you thank you

I am in a similar situation,. my cousin cleans for me. I call her to schedule each "appointment" that way there is no set schedule. I try to get her in every 2 weeks. It is such a weight off of my shoulders!

Morning Eric.. well, you're probably sleeping since you got home off work at 1 and were posting at 2.  Have fun with the girls today.  I'm sure the pics will be wonderful!

Today has me working until 3:30.  Today is my last day of wor****il next Thursday!! I took off the beginning of next week because it is Passover and 1. Siehara's school is closed the whole week and 2. I SHOULD go to synagogue Tuesday and Wednesday.  Plus we will be having our seder (Passover meal) at 2 people's houses Monday and Tuesday so they will be busy days.

At some point during the day today, either at lunch or after work, I am going to head to the AT&T store to have them switch everything from my current phone onto my new IPHONE!! WOOT WOOT!! Qualified for an upgrade and got a $50 refurb phone!  I want to be sure all my contacts and calendar items are transferred.  I'd be lost without all that stuff.

After that we will be going to hang out with a few friends for the evening.    Tomorrow will be a busy day too.. spending some time with friends and then babysitting for David and Sarah so they can go up to Penn's Peak to see a concert for their anniversary which is actually today... better get a card at some point.

Good Morning Eric & PA Family -

Slow ride into work this morning due to the rain, but I'm here now and ready to go....NOT...haha

Today has me at wor****il 3:30 and then my plan is to talk Brad into meeting me for an early movie this afternoon.  I'd really like to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D.  He probably is not dying to see it, but he may want to check it out. 

We don't have much planned this weekend, so I think I'll continue to clean up around the house, hit the gym, etc. I also need to work on my yard map for flowers.  This is my first year in this house and it's pretty bare looking.  There is plenty of room for planting, so I'll see what I can come up with.
