Okay I am getting depressed...
I have been trying to lose the last 10-15lbs for what seems like 4 months. I watch what I eat and excercise like a demon. The scale has not moved. I lost a measly 2lbs which btw I regained. I seem to be retaining water somehow. I am cutting down on my sodium intake which I don't eat that much of anyway. Work has me busy but I still make the time to excercise. I have tried to jus****ch what I eat but admit have not been tracking on spark people like I use to. The reason being is that I never counted calories or carbs. Dr. P told me I don't need to count calories but rather just track the daily protein intake. What am I doing wrong? I confess I don't always make the right choices eating wise but I have sworn off sugar and refined carbs for the past few months.

I don't have any other words of wisdom either. I was gonna post something similar.
I bounced up to about 140 (143 with water retention from my period) and decided I wanted to get back down to between 130 and 135. Within a few days of reeling it in I was down to 137....yay! And now I am back up to 139 WITH exercising and making good food choices. I'm just as annoyed. I even had to buy a size up in jeans for when I get my monthly friend because literally my clothes don't fit. Blech.
Hang in there....we aren't perfect but we know what is right and what is wrong....and we're doing the right things.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
Exercise does build muscle which weighs more than fat and is much better for you. Maybe your bodies are telling you something? Maybe you are at your 'ideal' weights? Neither you or Pam are far off of your lowest numbers, but sometimes those numbers are impossible to maintain. Please don't let it get you down - you've done so well on your journey and are an inspiration to all of us out here.
Hey just wanted to say Hang in there. I don't have any words of advice. Maybe you should consider that your body is happy at this weight. You are healthy, and in a healthy weight range. Maybe try focusing on that instead of a number on the scale. I wish I had a miracle answer to give you that would work wonders. But then if I did I wouldn't have needed RNY and I would have already been shouting the answer from the rooftops.
