Gas-X strips help a little bit, but for me, it's come down to keeping various air freshener sprays in my general vacinity.  For instance, I have a lovely can of Febreze pomegranate berry in my desk drawer right at this very moment.  ....

I'm very fortunate to have any office - otherwise my co-workers would hate me !!!!   Hey wait a minute....that might be a good thing....haha just kidding.

have you tried eliminating certain food groups as a trial.  i never realized i was lactose intolerant and that the result is gas post RNY.  my RNY surgeon suggested i try eliminating certain food groups when i complained of the similar problem.  i eliminated the obvious first beans, legumes, brocolli/cauliflour, cabbage . . . ok that didn't work . . .  lighter veggies, lettuce, cuc's, salady things . . .  ok that didn't work, next milk/milk product . . .  hmmm, did I notice a lessening, yes, I think so and, more importantly, so does hubby . . .

that is not to say I do everything lactose free . . . especially since my ONLY side effect is gas.  I love certain things, but now I know how/when to time them so that I'm not offending everyone.

might want to try it.

A product called Devrom is recommended for the heavy hitters.   Have you tried that?     http://www.devrom.com/

P.S. - excessive gas is usually indicative of too much carbs (even good ones).   Do you have room in your menu to cut back on carbs for a week or two and see if it makes a difference?

Devrom won't eliminate the gas, but it will deodorize the stench!! Add GasX strip to the mix and you should be better.

Also, check to see how much of the sugar alcohols you're eating.  Any of the artifical sweetners ending in "ol" such as malitol, sorbitol, etc.  Those really do a number on the ol' digestion. Try to eliminate as much of these as you can.

Good luck!

I have the same issue and Gas-x does nothing!  Nothing stops it.  I have just given up and know I will have gas forever LOL!
