Wowsa...I'm posting menu AND movement today?  Unusual I post to either one of these posts, let alone START both of them!

Anyway - I had a GREAT workout today.  I spent an hour and half at the gym today and was QUITE pleased.

5 min warm up on the treadmill - 3.0mph @ 4% incline
the next ten mins on the treadmill I spent alternating between very brisk walking @ 3.5 mph - 4.5 mph still at the 4% incline.  2 mins of brisk walking, 2 mins of jogging at 4 or 4.5.  Total of six mins of jogging total - which is GREAT for me.

Right after that I went into abs for 15 mins.  Upper and Lower

And then after that I spent 60 mins in spin class with one of my favorite instructors.  I do admit that the last drill for 5 mins we were (yet again) supposed to be up and down in the bike and I couldn't do that...so the last 5 mins I spent sitting on the bike spinning my little legs off!

I almost never sweat in the gym, regardless of how hard I work.  And today...I was drenched.  It felt yucky and fabulous all at the same time!

afternoon Pam.. WTG with your workout!!

I will be going to the gym for the 5:15 treadmill class.  I have a feeling that I am going to be running much faster today than other days, just to get the stress out.

After the treadmill class, she does some ab stuff, so I'll stay for that.

Pam,
Congratulations on the great workout!! My renewed commitment is to get at least 10,000 steps per day and most days I am making that number and sometimes up to 15,000 steps. I am determined to lose the last 10-15lbs!!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!
