Any word on Kris?

Krislyall was to have her hip surgery on Friday 3/19.  Any word on how she's doing?

Hello Everyone....

I'm still here... It's  just taken me a bit to get back on line and start to catch up.  I had my hip revision a week ago today and everything went really well.  No complications what so ever and my doc was really pleased with the outcome.

I was in the hospital until Sunday afternoon and have been home since then.  I'm under the usual hip precautions of not bending more than 90 degrees, crossing my legs or laying on my side and I have home physical therapy in 2 times a week for 3 weeks. 

The pain levels have been pretty good considering the 18" incision and 30 some odd staples in my left thigh. Both the doc and the physical therapist seem to think that I will be back under the poser of my own 2 feet within the month and as long as I do my exercises and manage my pain i think I can make it happen.

Thanks for all your support and should be back to the daily threads as soon as I catch up.

Did they give you a "boyfriend" to take home with you?  LOL That's what we refer to as the pillow that keeps your legs a part at the right distance while sleeping.
