Super Spring Saturday Roll Call
Happy Spring Everyone,
I am up finishing packing for my weekend in New York. My son is running in the New York City Half Marathon on Sunday, so I am heading up there, first to an appointment in North Jersey, then to a hotel in Astoria, not far from his apartment. Not sure what the day holds, but Sunday I will be scooting around Manhattan with my daughter-in-law to see him run.
I am so thrilled for the weather this weekend. Sure beats the rain from last weekend, or that icky white stuff from a month or so ago.

Have a wonderful time in NYC! My plan is to go there for my 40th birthday this coming October! I have never been, but so want to go!
Have a great weekend all! Busy time for me here! Started working yesterday with orientation, and then today we get the tables set up and ready to start teaching the people how to be casino dealers. It is an exciting time for Erie, and the state of PA too! Glad to know I am a big part of it here!

Good morning Trish - hope you have a FABULOUS weekend in New York. I haven't been since October and I hear Broadway calling my name!
I am so looking forward to this entire weekend. Have to get the girls up soon to get them showered, Emily is going to her Dance Dress rehearsal and then a FULL DAY play date with one of the kids, I now don't need to worry about her for the rest of my day! I am taking Molly to the synagogue for a Bat Mitzvah program, we will go to services and then some conversation with with clergy. From there we are jumping on 611 and heading to Easton for an afternoon of laughs, support, food and POSSIBLY some cooking - I think there wil be those who force my hand...we shall see....from Liz's I am hoping to head over to Karen's to check in on our patient and bring her some of my wit and charm....well....food anyway! Tonight, will be a quiet night at home with just my girls as Josh has a sleep-over at the synagogue and Larry is, shockingly....WORKING!
Tomorrow is more of the running around - but much closer to home: Hebrew school in the morning, then to a mother-daughter lucheon with the girls. Another excuse to get dressed up and dance with my kiddos. Hope I like them tomorrow! :) Then tomorrow night another quiet evening at home, dinner with everyone and then Larry off to work.
I hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful gift by Mother Nature, I know my trees are happy, and I am pretty sure the outdoor fish in the pond are remembering what it is like to notbe covered by three feet of snow! Have a great weekend! :)

As for me I have to go clean the kitchen so we actually have room to cook. Then I'll be superviising cooking class - we are so making Steffi work this month! :)

Today is going to be jam packed for me.. but loads of fun, too!
Getting in the shower and then going over to the mall. That bra I bought from VS was too big so I returned it... and guess what the dang thing was discontinued and they refunded my money. So, I am going to head to the mall to pick up another one. I also want to see if I can get a new shirt or two.
After the mall, I will head to Liz's for a great day of cooking and friendship.
From there, I will drop Siehara off at a friend's house and will be headed out to karaoke tonight!!

Today I am up the house is quiet gonna enjoy that while I can, Soon the family will be up and we will be making the trek to my grandads BD Party. I love him and i am lookng forward to seeing him. The rest of them no so much.

Today I'm off to have lunch with some of my cousins from mom's side of the family. We have not gotten together since the last family funeral and decided it's time to have lunch together. 3 of us live in the Philly area, one is coming down from New York state, the other is coming from the Harrisburg area. I'm really looking forward to our lunch today ;-)
Other than that not much planned. Gene is finishing up the taxes so he is happy I'll be out of the house....
When I get home there should be some time to go out for a walk, hopefully Gene will be done with the taxes by then and join me.

Ok so I copied and pasted this because in my morning fog I totally didn't see your post! Have a WONDERFUL time in the city and good luck to your son!
I had an AWESOME day with a friend yesterday, although the ending of it I got a little annoyed...so don't mind my separate vent post in a minute!
Anyway - today - I'm still terribly terribly ill with the stomach bug (please note the sarcasm and complete LIE in that statement) so alas...I cannot go to work again (and to clarify - if you call out one night it is an occurrence...if you call out two nights in a row...it is still only ONE occurrence...so seriously....it's common knowledge if you call out one, you call out two)
So....there's only one thing to do but head to Liz's house and enjoy the company! Waaaahhhhoooo!
I got Brian a universal remote control he's been oogling for quite some time...and it appears you may need a college degree to program it and get it to set up - so I'll probably help with that (ms. technologically declined is gonna help? Sheesh - looks like Steffi WILL cook today and the whole world will be off kilter, lol)

Well I know the day is half over but figured I'd post anyway. Whole day off today... Slept in till 9 and up making breakfast and mentally preparing for Liz's. Had a wonderful time at Liz's with everyone, even Steffi... 
However after an afternoon with all women, I am in need of some guy time, so I'm playing cards with some friends tonight.
Anyway... It's been a great day so far, thanks ladies for the food, fun and friendship!
