Good Morning All. Just got a text from Karen, she feels good, just achy. She was getting ready to have some of the muscle milk that Pam so kindly picked up for her. SHe was just waiting for the Dr to come in and give her the game plan. I'd imagine that she'd get to go home today. Hospitals(or insurance should Isay) are always ready to kick you out.

Ialso heard from her last night, she is so grateful for all of the support she has received from her WLSbuddies over the last 2 days.

Oh and she added that she guesses that she won't be doing the stair climb tomorrow - that's our Karen! lol

The stair climb thing totally slipped my mind.  Sheesh - one surgery and it's like she can't do ANYTHING lol

I was actually coming on here to post basically the same thing...she told me she feels MUCH better than yesterday, yay!

Oh - and Eric I specifically told her what you said in roll call about just staying home tomorrow instead of having major surgery to get out of meeting you - and she said "I think I'm gonna like that guy!"

Yay for Karen!

Liz,

Thanks for posting.  I've had the pleasure of meeting Karen at the Barix meetings and she's a super person.  She's an excellent leader and such a fine role model....a true inspiration!

Get well soon, Karen.
