what I realized today

Well I'm dispointed in myslef today I went to my surgeons apt I have not lost nothing in one month again here we went over the foods that I have been eating well they are not good at all and that I need to cut back or out my snacking he recmonded to me to start the south beach dite again to jump start my weight loss and get me back to eatting healther things. I agee with this as I need it since my depression I have not been good. Now that I'm no longer depressed I'm going to get right back on track and kick obesitys butt! I'm exercising again yay I think now that it's getting nice out I'm going to start walking in the am before work.

Too bad we could not start weekend meet up to go walking or something in addation to the cooking classes.

I didn't realize they hell that depression was playing on me till today I'm glad that I got help and am back on track as well! I'm glad for the wake up call that is for sure I also realized how luck I am to be able to get chances that I have gotten and the help that I need I'm glad that I DIDN'T shrug it off and I'm getting stronger for it.

Hey Nicki.. good that you are recognizing that there is an issue and doing something about it.  Now that spring is here, I think most of us will start to feel better.  I definitely had a rough winter, too.  You know Sawyna believes in 3 meals a day and that's it.  I know you have the band, but the South Beach program is a good one to follow.  It got you started in the process and can help you to kick start it again.

Like you said, with added exercise and getting your food in order you CAN kick obesity's butt!!    I am not that far away.  I would love to have a weekend walking buddy.  Maybe we can get together on a Sat or Sunday when you are not working and get out and walk.  Let me know.  I'm sure we can find a park or something that is 1/2 way or we can take turns meeting up in our towns.

Yes it has been ruff winter that is for sure. I'm happy that I rec what I'm doing wrong and I'm going to fix that. Lisa I know Sawyna is on that you can only eat 3 meals day I feel like asking him if he lives by that rule or not!! I don't always see eye to eye with him on somethings. Pam I WILL check out that thread for sure.

Lisa would not mind meeting up on weekends that I have off to walk somewhere.
