***Feel Better Friday Roll Call***
Good Morning All! I'm here at work looking forward to what I hope will be a quiet day. I have a fair amount of work to do - but I'm tired and my back hurts so it's in my co-workers best interest to just leave me alone and let me do my thing! lol
After work if Karen is still in the hospital I'll swing by and visit, if not it's home to prep for tomorrow. I have to mop my floor and make the blueberry lemon cheesecakes.
Have a good day all and a great weekend - go out and soak up some sun! Just remember your sunblock - just because it isn't summer doesn't mean the sun can't burn you (or give you cancer)

Speaking of sun...how's THIS for confusion! I was talking to my doc about vit d and stuff...and he said "I know you work nights so sun isn't your thing to begin with...but when you do go out do you wear sunblock?" Like a good little girl I said "Oh of COURSE...I burn so easily...I wear it without fail" being all proud of myself. His response? "Well, that's good for your skin and the whole cancer thing but just to let you know the sunscreen also blocks the vit d so you are STILL not getting vit D from the sun" Sigh. Work nights = no vit D Sunscreen = no vit D Looks like it's sublingual therapy for me, lol!
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses. 
Wow....two days of roll call AND a fancy title. You're getting good my friend! lol Glad work wasn't to bad for you.
Well...speaking of the poor girl who has to the first pedi of the season.....that's happening to some poor girl in Forks today, too! lol
I have to get in touch with a girlfriend today - she called yesterday - and I talked to her briefly - but was at the hospital w/ Karen at the time so I told her I would call her back when I got home. I got home, made dinner, did some work for a few things...and then sat on the couch for "just a minute" Well - you know how THAT turned out, lol
I think today will be a girls day out. Her name is Pam, too (how convenient) and whenever we get together without our beaus we call it a "Pammy Pammy day" which I think is in HIGH order! We will see!
Oh - and I must remember to be a very very bad girl and call work and tell them I'm not coming in. I'm taking two MH days tonight and tomorrow night
I think that's about it! Oh, and I'll be texting back and forth with Karen, I have no doubt!

Well...if I say I'm mentally ill - they will no doubt want to put me in room 19 or 20 - which are our psych rooms (I think they want to do that some days anyway) and if I just call out sick...and then post pics and/or status updates from the outlets....waaaay to many eyebrows can be raised!

Good morning all - another beautiful day in store for us - it feels so wonderful after all that stinking snow, wind and cold weather.
I woke up with a nasty headache this morning - took some Tylenol when I ate my breakfast and it seems to be subsiding a little bit.
Got my hair done last night - finally have time to go back to my old stylish and I love the way she did my hair - a little pick-me-up for me.
This weekend we're heading to the beach - leaving tomorrow morning as I have laundry and other things to do tonight. Saving my vacation days for this summer when we can have nice long weekends down there and the pool is open and the boat is in the water.
Got a text from my nephew late last night that his girlfriend is in the hospital - he didn't say why, just that he'd call me today. OMG it is always something...
