Alright.. exercise thread has been lacking..

I just got back from a 30 minute brisk walk OUTSIDE.  It is absolutely GORGEOUS out there!!!

Can't get to the gym tonight, so that will be it for me today.

I just did 2 laps up and down our parking lot at work. I'm supposed to be taking it easy so it wasn't fast but I did do it! I've also made about 10 trips to the opposite end of the building and at least 10 to the bathroom - that counts for something right?! lol

Stuck in this damn office unless something comes up to get me out.  Doing my mile tonight after the kids go to bed.  Maybe if we get home at a decent time, I'll take them out for a walk too...

Did a nice casual mile with the kids after work and when they went to bed, I went out for my mile. With a little inspiration, I did about a mile & a half. Felt great.

Glad you posted this Lisa. To (Sh_____ - I forget your name, sorry). Please keep posting it. Even though not many respond, I feel highly motivated by the ones that do. You are the ones that got me out and moving!

We walked about 21 blocks on the beach with our metal detector, then walked the 21 blocks back on the sidewalk. (It was blowing too much to walk the beach route back. Too much sand blowing.) For all our efforts, we found 5 pennies and a piece of beach glass.

Went to the gym this morning - did 7 brisk minutes on the elliptical for a warmup, then a full weight circuit - did what my trainer called a "super-circuit" which is rapid reps in 3 sets, with only 3 - 5 seconds "rest" between reps and no more than 30 seconds between machines.  Finished up with kicks and pushups.  Felt good!

I stopped posting the thread because most days it's just a couple of us that will post on it. I did my hour on the elliptical and walked on my lunch and breaks. I have lost nothing since my 2lbs but I am losing inches.
