Good Morning Pam,
I was up earlier, and went to do the Roll Call, but answered your question about Philly and walked away from the computer till now.  Duh! 

Anyway, I have my daughter-in-law coming down from New York to help me fix up my apartment.  Not sure what exactly we are doing today, but I think hanging pictures is on the agenda.  

I must get some tidying done before she gets here.

Good morning, all!

I actually slept a little later than usual today.  My alarm clock (one of the cats) usually wants to be petted or fed very early, but today he either didn't bother me or I slept through it.  We're in Ocean City MD, and it's very foggy here.

We may make a run to WalMart today to pick up some better lotion.  I have some really itchy spots, and it looks like a rash in those spots.  I'm hoping it's just dry skin.  I'll try to increase my fluids today too.

We'd like to get out on what's left of the beach and use the metal detector today.  This year's storms have done a number on the beach.

Well, a complete change in plans for me (were there any to change?)

I started with "putting a few things away" in the kitchen - which turned into completely reorganizing one half of my kitchen!  I must say - I like the arrangements of the cabinets much better.

Checked my email and it appears my dad has cabin fever from recouping from gallbladder surgery and doesn't want to stay at home today (sheesh....like father like daughter, huh?) so they are coming up around noon today, him and my mom, to hang out and visit for awhile.  I'm VERY excited!

But that means I MUST get the litter boxes done asap, wake brian and tell him, get to the store to pick up the stuff that I needed and lunch stuff for us as well.  I'm sure Brian will want to vaccuum and make the house more presentable than it is.

And even better - (I'll be struck dead for this comment I'm SURE) - hopefully this will be an excuse to NOT have his parents over, lol.  Aw shucks.  I don't have time to cry over that now....to much to do!

Ok...time to wake the hubby and get a move on!

Today is SIX months since my surgery

Not sure what is planned for the day.  Right now drinking my morning tea and watching TV.

Checked the basement and upstairs bathroom, the basement did not need any water clean up this morning, the upstairs bathroom just needed the bucket emptied.  All the damage we experienced from this years snow storms is amazing.

Still have not gone out to look at phones yet. 

Have to cook up some food for the week.

Other than that will probably be a pretty lazy day....

6 months already Ida.. WOW how time has flown by!!

Keep on successing and I hope you can fix the damage you have on your home.

Thank you Lisa.  Yes it seems to have flown by.

The insurance adjustor was out on Thursday and our builder also came so he could see the lists the adjustor made.  Now just waiting on the final numbers.  He told me within 15 to 20 days we should have the check in our hands once the $$$ amount on the damage has been set.

Today, I woke up earlier than I normally would on a Sunday.  But, I woke up in a really good mood, so I guess that makes it ok.  I was going to go over to the gym for my normal Sunday crazy day of classes, but last night I decided to let Siehara stay up so she would sleep in today.  She is still sleeping and I am just relaxing.  Once she gets up, we can go over and I'll do a workout on my own.  I'll probably get on a bike and pedal until I can't pedal anymore.  I may even go into the spin room and play around with the resistance just like if I was in a class.  

This afternoon, Siehara is going to a roller skating birthday party for a friend from school.  I am going to come home and relax a bit and then get ready for my dinner at the Olive Garden.  After dinner, I'll go grab Siehara and we will come home and hang out until bed time. 

At some point, I think I want to make the cookies that are on the back of the meusli bag.  They sound really good and not too terrible.  I'll put them into sparkpeople first, though, to be sure they are not going to be killer.

That's about it for me.  I do hope it dries up outside.  When I left the Bar Mitzvah yesterday, the wind and rain were just crazy.  

Speaking of, there are pics on FB from the day.  I have a few on my phone that I need to transfer over there too.  I'll probably do that now.
