2 lb boneless chicken breast, no skin
12 oz can Diet 7-Up or other brand
1/3 cup green onions, chopped
basil, rosemary, sage & thyme to taste
Yet another version of our soda chickens! Enjoy!
Preheat the oven to 350F or turn slow cookerto LOW.
Line the bottom and sides of pan with foil. Pour the soda over the meat. It might help to fork pierce it as well. Sprinkle with the seasonings and cover with more foil.
Bake for 1 hour or until tender.
Tip: Turkey would work, too. Or put in a slow cooker before you go to work and it's done when you get home.
