Good morning everyone,

I am sooooo happy and exicted this morning.

I got on the scale and I am under 200lbs!!!  What a fantastic feeling this is.  I am down 110 lbs in just over 6 months.

I have less than 30 pounds to go.  Hard to believe that it was just 6 months ago that I was limping around with a cane.  Now I am working out at the gym 5 days a week.  It is crazy great!!!

I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This is a good day!!!

Enjoy your workout!

Oh - and there is no "end of the tunnel" just a different road through successing :)

 Hi Pam and thank you.

My friends tease me because I am very strict.  I stay very focused and don't make any bad choices.  It's just not an option.  I am extremely focused on reaching my goal.

I know the biggest challenge will be after I reach goal, learning to maintain the weight.  I am banking on all the wisdom that you and people on the boards have.  I see a nutrionalist every month and I am hoping that also keeps me course.

The friends I have met along this journey are awesome and there is so much love and support.

It's very difficult, not to be happy!!

Thanks Pam.
Geoff

what  a wonderful feeling i know.
Stay strick really I mean it. You will need that when it comes time to maintain.
i am pretty strict about some things and i am struggling with some regain which kind of happens to most of us to a point. But this really is the time to develop those habits you will need to keep the weight off,. the honey moon period really does end

Thanks, I do know that.  I have been down several times before with my weight.  I actually used to be a weigh****cher's leader.  I know the honeymoon ends and how difficult the struggle to maintain can be.  The longest I have ever kept off my weight was 14 years.

I am sooooo determined that this will be the last time.  I just hope I get lucky and that the honeymoon lasts a bit longer.
