Move it Move it Monday
Cannot believe I am posting an excercise thread. I went to the gym after work and did an hr on the treadmill. I have decided that i am just going to get to the gym for two weeks consistenty doing the treadmill or eliptical and the boxing class if I can. If i can do that then I will step it up and look into weights or maybe even a trainer. For now I just want to focus on getting there

I actually did some work today for a change, so didn't get around to posting any exercise thread.
I went to the gym tonight and did the treadmill class for the first time.
This tiny little Vietnamese woman teaches the class, but don't let her stature fool you. She's an animal! She's a great teacher and was very encouraging to the 3 of us who were there for the first time. I RAN ALOT..
much more than I would have done on my own or even with the way I was slacking about on the C25K training. There were hills and sprints and walks..totally cool, totally kicked my butt.. once we were done on the treadmill, she had us do tricep dips and pushups on the ends of the treadmill and then took us to an open area for a brutal ab workout!
This MIGHT be my new favorite class. I will certainly go back again.. once my legs recover from the pain.... I took a nice hot bubble bath tonight....

I went to the gym on MOnday too - just catching up on posts now...
Anywho....did 20 mins on the treadmill @ 3.5 @ 5% incline for my "warm up" before the personal trainer. Worked out with her (upper body weights) for 30 mins - then she showed me some ab stuff that I REALLY liked so I did a full set of them while I was there.
Tuesday will be my day off....
