Good Shabbas everyone!

How's that for a wake up!  I just got out of the shower and now it's time to get ready for synagogue.  After services, I am going to go get my nails done.  I took off the tips awhile ago because they were coming off one by one and I didn't have the money to get them fixed.  Well, it's driving me nuts NOT having them on, so off I go.

After that, I will come home to relax for a bit and then it will be time to put on my cute little costume and go back to synagogue for the Purim service.  We dress in costumes and read the book of Esther.  It is loud (booing the bad guy) and fun and relaxed.

That's it for me.  Hope everyone has a good day.

Oh and Pam, I'm glad I could understand your post this morning... LOL..

Hi PAers,

I babysat the 1 year old grandbaby last night now waiting for him to be picked up then heading to the Amish market.
No real plans.  Been contemplating cleaning out the pantry and re-organizing, but who knows.

In a bad mood today. I really wanted to get to the office this am and set it up and so somethings while i had jason to help me. We are supposed to be open until 10. We get there at 9am and they are closed tight and we have no snow for that to be the reason. I am having a hard time adjusting and not being in a bad mood because i really needed to get that done today.

I guess we will hang out and do chores today. Nothing much on the agenda, which is good

Good morning everyone.  This morning I am working the Paramedic job, 6a-6p.  So far it has been a relatively relaxing day even with the snow we got.  Made breakfast for my partner and I, cleaned up a little and now just waiting around for something to happen.

Supposedly the girls are going to my sister-in-laws tonight, so Erin and I might have a "date night".  Only problem is that Erin is getting sick, so I might be looking for a new date...lol.    Nothing planned tomorrow except church.

Hope everyone has a great weekend...

Morning, everyone...

pam - sorry to hear about your rough day with Brian.  We always try to look at those days as "thunderstorms" and think about how wonderful the day after a thunderstorm usually is, with all that clear air and the world feeling "washed."  Hopefully that will be your day today... and the in-laws will actually BEHAVE themselves for once and will show up on time.  Deep breathing... focus on what's really important (you and bri).

We made good progress on the kitchen yesterday despite some plumbing-related setbacks.  We didn't get the subfloor started, which is a bit of a problem - but we're doign it today as soon as Eddie gets home from work (should be soon, actually).  We HAVE to get it done this weekend because it must be down before the contractor arrives on Monday morning, so there's really not much choice.  And eddie works tomorrow until 3, so that's a bit of a limiting factor.  Yes, I'm worried.  Sigh.

The kitchen chaos is taking a toll on my eating - I can't FIND anything (my mom keeps moving things that we've packed up because she's trying to help) and am realizing that being down to just a microwave and no prep capability is a bit of a problem (was thinking that the stove would at least be plugged in, which it can't be, because the special plug for it broke).  It was much easier staying in a hotel than this!  I can make a protein shake, just had yogurt and muesli, can have cheese sticks and things like that, but not a lot of other options.   Going out to dinner is a life-saver!  I keep focusing on the reward when this is all done, though!  And I'm taking pictures!

have a great day, folks!

Karen - Good luck with the kitchen! I wish I could come help you with the subfloor while Eddie is at work, but well everything weighs more then 10 pounds and I am clueless! lol

I can offer if you need something cooked - happy to send meals in with Chris. Dig out your crock pot too - you can always toss a meal in there.

Good luck and I hope that the rest of the renovation goes quickly and smoothly!

Good morning everyone!

Well I think today will be a quiet one for me...finish up some laundry...straighten up the house...and maybe run to the store for some food ...other than that..just going to hang out and maybe watch some HGTV or something!  I dont have my plan book--so I cant do lesson plans..I really didnt think we'd be off for the snow again..so I left it at work..so no school stuff to do--oh well! LOL

May read a book and just basically veg out this afternoon and evening....

Hope everyone has a terrific Saturday!

Much luv!
