Saturday Roll Call

Well now!  What are we all doing on this Saturday?

Right now I'm cruising around on the internet just chilling.

I had a rough day yesterday - well - both brian and I had a rough day together yesterday hopefully that is behind us.

I have some things to put away...and stuff like that.

Personal Trainer appointment at 10.  I'm already stiff and tight from the shoveling I did yesterday so this should prove to be VERY interesting.  I plan on getting there a bit early so I can warm up on the treadmill and/or elliptical and try to loosen things up a bit.

May make a SF dessert of some sort.  The inlaws are coming over and taking us out to dinner for brian's bday....so I'll see

Once home from the gym it will be just straightening up and preparing for them.  We actually made reservations for a time at the restaurant as it gets really busy on nights like tonight...and my in laws are really really good at showing up "fashionably late" to things.  They freaking better not screw this up, too!

Have a FANTASTIC day!

Good Morning Pam,
I am going to try to get my car out of my spot and get to the gym for a swim.  I need it bad.  Then, this afternoon, I am getting together with my sponsor and afterward we are having a bite to eat.

Happy Birthday, Brian.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning, PA!

Happy birthday to Brian!!

Wow, I must have a really boring life!  All I have planned for today is exercise.  How exciting!!  Maybe I'll shake things up a bit and do some laundry too!

Have a great day, everyone!!!

Going to Loretano's? (the italian place, I think that's what it's called) you should meet them THERE! lol

Today has me putzing around the house, going to make cinnamon rolls, get the meatloaf ready for tomorrow, maybe make some kid of dessert for the week and prep my food. Oh yea and cleaning and laundry if I feel up to it. Back is killing me the last 24 hours - might try some light yoga to see if it is the baby pressing on something or if I can stretch it out.

good luck with the trainer Pam!

You were close....DeLorenzo's  And yes...if they are running anywhere CLOSE to late we are meeting them there.  Heck, I'll eat without them if I have to!

Have fun today

I looked over the book real quickly - hopefully today won't be to bad with the trainer - I think today is just a bunch of measurements and figuring out routines for me and what not - weights on the machines, machines I should use....and if I remember correctly (although my mind is a bit fuzzy cause the conversation took place AFTER I had worked out in spin class) I seem to remember him saying something about the first time won't be a real "work out", just figuring stuff out.  I may actually stay afterwards and do some cardio.....

LOL you'd have a better time! Only benefit of them being there is hopefully they pay! :)

Tell Brian Happy Birthday from both of us!

That's good - have fun then and be sharp so you remember all the stuff he told you!

Good Morning Pam & PA:

Happy Birthday to Brian....

I'm not sure what to do with myself this morning.  This is my first weekend in 7 years that I do not have any reading or writing to do for a class.  This is sooooooooooooooo weird for me.   Now I have to figure out how to function again.

I think I'll probably take a long walk on my treadmill, it's been 5 weeks since I've done any exercise.  There was absolutely no way to exercise and take those last 2 classes.  Time to get serious and start exercising again.  I can see how exercise affects the weight loss, I have not lost an ounce in the last 5 weeks.  I'm almost the same weight I was in 2006 so I'm happy and not stressing, I know it will jumpstart again once I get my arse moving.

Then I have to figure out what meals and such to make for the upcoming week.  Gene's birthday is Monday so I'll probably make a carrot cake tomorrow for him.  Laundry is also calling, Gene has been wonderful keeping that to a dull roar over the last 5 weeks, and the house could use some cleaning.  Then I do have to empty the kitchen cabinet where all the water damage is from the last snow storms.  The cabinet doors have fallen off so I'm thinking it is probably a good idea to get my dishes out of there.  The insurance adjustor was supposed to come out this coming Wednesday but I have a huge project I'm involved in at work and cannot take off so I have to move that appointment to the following week when the project is completed.

Maybe I will have a full productive day or maybe I will just sit in front of the TV and flip channels have not done that in a very long time :-)

Hope everyone has an awesome day....

Ida
