Freaking Friday Roll Call

Good Morning PA,
Not sure what I am doing, as Philly Schools look open so far.  The snow outside looks like just enough to make me miserable as I drive.  '

Tonight I have my AA meeting.  Then, my sister-in-law is having a girls night out for some ladies at church, and their daughters.  Chinese food and fellowship.  It is a good time for all.  Again, depends on the snow.

So, my plans are just soft till the weather decides things.

Good morning Trish and everyone as they wake up on this BEAUTIFUL morning in the Delaware Valley! :)  (Yup - that is sarcasm if you couldn't hear it in my voice!)

My favorite man is out and about in this crap!  The snow is great - but the winds....really?!?!?  We just got the word that schools are closed....AGAIN!  IT looks like this is it for atleast a few days, but with the way things have been going this past year with the weather, one never knows!  Do you think we will have a dry and warm summer because of this?!?!  I think we deserve it! :)

Anyway - not sure what the day will hold.  I was supposed to be meeting up with a friend from Israel to work on our project.  She does not live very far, and it is not until later this afternoon, so we will see how the weather as the day progresses.  I still have grading to do - unlike you Tri****otally did NOT finish yesterday - I did make a small dent though.  Getting there......

I KNOW for sure that  I will be taking a nap at some point, seeing that it is 5AM and I am WIDE awake!  (however, to be woken up to be told that there is no school is FINE by me!)  I would like to get my nails done, I will see if I can get out.

Oh - my daughter's dance program has a dance for the mom;s for the recital.  I decided that it would be fun to try, so last night I went to the first rehearsal.  Turns out I CAN dance!  (I actually knew that I could, I just never wanted to do it so much when i was fluffy.)  It is going to be fun and I can imagine that it will be a huge wow when I get up on stage at the recital! :)

Anyway - have a nice, safe and warm Friday!  And hey...it is FRIDAY after all! :)

PLEASE tell me that you guys have a video camera and that your recital will be posted. Not only would I love to see you dance, I think it is so cool they are having a special MOM recital. I don't think I ever heard of that before how cute.

And what a great way to embarrass your son if you show it to his friends! he he.

Today may be a very slow day at work if predictions are right.  My sweetie will have my truck today so that is good.  He has to travel back to Olean.  I will have is car but hopefully, I will be able to get it into the driveway tonight.

They just closed the Philly schools.  I hope they don't close Philly, have to go to traffic court and get back one of our company vehicles.

Good morning, PA!!

Nothing going on here today.  I plan to stay inside, exercise, drink hot tea, maybe take a nap.  I'm not going to worry about shoveling/snow blowing until the wind dies down.  There's been so much drifting that I can't tell how much snow we got overnight.

Morning Trish.. schools here are all closed again.  BUT, this time they didn't do it last night.  They waited to see if we actually needed to be off and I would say that they are actually right this time.  The winds are crazy and a lot of what fell yesterday is now frozen.

SO, that means day #2 in a row of Siehara being home with me while I work.  A friend of mine is planning on going into her office today and she works right down the street.   Yesterday she brought her kids with her to the office.  Today, I told her that she can drop them off here if she wants to.  She said she'll let me know once she is really up and moving.  I kind of hope she does bring them because then it will get Siehara off the computer and actually playing.  They can go outside in the snow and OMG-PLAY!?! like kids do! Imagine the possibilities... plus she has a crush on the boy, so that is always cute to watch... he likes her too.. 11 year old "love" is truly funny.

ANYWAY, working OT and until at least 3:30.. it's been a long week of work and I'm exhausted, but I do like the paychecks.  I guess we won't be doing much of anything else tonight if the roads are bad.  I'll make something yummy for dinner and we'll hang out and watch a movie together or something.

Three day weekend here I is!!!!  Yaaaaaaay!

Anywho...leaving work.  Brian was gonna come get me - but I called him - the roads here look MORE than passable, asked him what the roads looked like by us - and he said about the same so I'm taking my self home.  Slowly due to the winds...but really - it doesn't make ANY sense what so ever to have Brian clear off his car (when mine is in a nice parking garage all clean), and do twice the amount of driving.

I'll go home, take a nap....then I have my appointment at 3p at the gym for my "assessment" and then I'll work out.

I'm gonnna stop somewhere and get my nails and toes done. 

Figure out something for dinner and spend the evening at home w/ hubby.
