OK can't wait for some advice.
Saw Dr's  P A  today, since some people were surprised I started purees at day 5, imagine my surprise when she told me since I am doing fine just to baby my pouch and move on to soft foods.
I had (4oz as told  by PA )salmon and spinach for dinner, WOW
what a relief now I remember what it felt like to be full finally/
I also needless to say couldn't fini****
Things are looking up , I was afraid I was fooled and surgery wasn't done hahahaha...maybe just filled me with gas.
So I am going to try only one new thing a day to make sure I know what I can handle.
Will I become tired next week??? She also said I can go back to work(hairstylist) I don't want to reschedule clients only to have to cancel........Or should I  just milk it and take advantage of feeling good and not having work! I tell you if I were rich I would be going to Fla. for the weekend!

I got home from surgery on Friday and went to support group meeting Saturday, went ot my office Sunday AFTER walking a mall with my 4 year old for 4 hour.  I did not have any regression in my "good" feeling.  All that really got to fromthe surgery was that I'd get tired easily, usually arund 6-7 or 8pm.  I could live with that.

So if you WANT to work, I'd say go for it.

You are kicking ass!  That is good that you finally felt that fullness feeling.  I was kind of worried today because I have some refried beans and didn't really feel full.  I didn't eat more that 1/2 a cup but I was thinking I could really eat more if I wanted to.  However, I did have to hit the bathroom very quick!  Has that happened to you?

As for work...milk it for as long as you can financially.  You might as well.

remember....when they cut your stomach they cut the nerve endings going into your stomach and it will take time to heal and truly feel "full" and/or hungry.  Remember to eat by the clock as well as by measurements (ie 1/4 - 1/2 cup or whatever your doc reccommends)

There's no such thing as TMI!!  lol  WE talk about eVERYTHING here :)

I'd say do what you can afford.  Maybe if you want to start back start back at half days or something like that?

Baby the HELL out of your pouch right now.  Get into good habits.  Frequent eating small meals.  Lots of fluid.  And don't temp the carb monster...it's a pain in the ass once it's released!

Keep on successing!!!!!!
