I used to get thrush alot due to medicine for Diverticulitis.  The doc always gave me a liquid to inse and swallow and it worked GREAT.  If you like, I can call my pharmacist (they're friends) and ak them the name of it when they open.  I'd be glad to do it.

I had thrush one week after surgery, too. Diflucan took care of it, pretty quickly too.  Good luck with it.

Generally speaking it's normally treated by rinse that someone else posted.  As "warped" as this could sound, it's normally either a "swish and spit" or "swish and swallow" direction (and yes, that's how it's ordered in the hospital...lol

I'd definately call your doc.  Your surgeon might want you to see your PMD to double check because it's more "medical" than it is surgical
Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
