My guidelines for fat from my nut were:  No more than 10gm of fat in a serving and no more than 40gm of fat in a day.

I was not given sodium restrictions per say.  However...a "heart healthy" sodium restricted diet is anywhere from 2gm - 4gm in a day.  4gm for people who don't retain water or have problems such as congestive heart failure or kidney or blood pressure problems.

There is 1000mg in a gm....so you are looking at keeping it between 2000mg - 4000mg a day.  4000mg being the HIGH end if at all possible.

Increased sodium in ANYBODY will cause water retention, and thus swelling and plateuing (sp?)
