One Year for Lisa!
LIsa,
Wow - it's been a whole year for you! Amazing! You've come such a long way and done so with grace and beauty. I know it's not been easy and that it's been a slower process than you wanted, but the personal growth that has come with the journey is apparent, positive, and SO worth it. You've truly blossomed in the relatively short time I've known you.
I feel very honored to have you as a friend and truly enjoy your company. You bring so much laughter and honesty with you - what a joy!
AND... you're beautiful and you're absolutely ROCKIN your gorgeous new clothes!
MEGA-HUGS!!!
Love,
Karen

Oh Karen.. what a year it has been. A lot of my growth has been because of you and your knowledge along the way. You have provided such a wealth of information in your short time since surgery. It is truly unbelievable.
I try to have a positive attitude and bring laughter and honesty to everything I do.
Thanks so much for your strength when I don't have it!

Lisa,
Happy surgiversary, my friend!!!! Awesome job!!!! You look so wonderful---and so much younger than in your before photos!!!!
And yes, you truly are an inspiration to us!!! I remember reading a post by you months ago, and you said you felt "flippin' fantastic". That has stuck with me, and I've thought of those words often. And one day, it hit me that I truly knew what you meant.
Thanks for all of your support!!!! I'm so glad to be on this journey with you!!!

I am amazed at what you have done in only ONE year, Lisa! Successing is exactly what you are practicing and I am excited to see what you will do with the next 12 months and beyond. I can say that combining your family with mine on Thanksgiving was a perfect way to celebrate you and your new life and that of your daughter. You are truly someone (and an entire process!) to celebrate! Enjoy today and celebrate what is yet to come! Love to you <3!!

Shauna, your knowledge and sheer fight for life have helped me in so many ways you can't even imagine. When you invited me to your house for Thanksgiving, you showed me what true friends are all about. I was not uncomfortable in the least. Everyone made me feel so loved even though they didn't know me.
LOVE YOU!! and I hope you are starting to feel better
